Disagree... I think they did pretty good considering their circumstances this season. They had a rough stretch there in December with a car accident and some injuries.. Still beat Montgomery late in the season. Congrats to Coach Sosby and his team!

Regardless of home court advantage--the best team will win! Last year at the Fieldhouse Clark County was the best team, they won! Just like this year in Mt. Sterling... the best team will win regardless of home court advantage or not.

Have we discussed this before? If not, can someone start a thread asking who the best crowds are? :laugh:

Lacey is a great player. This is a special individual accomplishment and I bet if you ask her she would gladly trade this for a Regional Championship. Lacey finishes in traffic with contact better than any girl player I have watched.

I believe this to be a good draw for both schools! Probably the most evenly match of all the regional games.. I will not make a prediction, but will say that I believe it to be a good game.

Best Performance (as a team) - Clark Co (district finals) over Montgomery Coach of the Year - Robin Kelsch (3rd straight trip to the region at Augusta), Jamey Johnson for leading Deming to the Regional tournament, and Jason Hinson for having a great year with St. Pat, and Chad Simms for making the Regional Tournament with after a disappointing season. Congratulations to the Jenkins basketball team. I have had the pleasure of meeting their coaches at the Transy team camp the last couple of summers and they are 2 great coaches, people, and this is well deserved.

Kiki Brown is a good high school player who I have enjoyed watching the past 3 seasons.

They won the game, they are going to the regional tournament, they have had a good season to this point.... I think Coach Johnson knows what he is doing!

Very nice post Coach in the Stands! You are exactly right. A lot of class by both schools. Mason County's coaching staff did a great job of utilizing everyone on their bench and Coach Arnold of Augusta (very classy person) showed a lot of class and respect for Coach Buser's mother. Nice job!
