Just curious, how many people play both ways for Ballard? What positions do they play? How about St. X?

The Trinity/Ballard/Seneca/Eastern district matches up with the St. X/Butler/Manual/PRP district.

The original comment was about the teams not liking each other very much. It did not mention the student bodies, fans, administrations, etc. I suspect that's why Coach J responded. He's quite well qualified to discuss the attitude of the Ballard football team.

Call me crazy, but I just want a ref to call the game according to the rule book. If the rule says the offense has 25 seconds to start a play, call delay of game as soon as the time has expired. No need to give them 30 seconds or more. If it's pass interference, call it, please don't try to determine whether it's bad enough to call.

I don't think the Seneca coaches were listening to the PA announcer during the game. Most coaches I know are too busy during the game and too focused on the game to hear fans, announcers, cheerleaders, etc. Surely someone else is in charge of policing the PA announcer.

WOW - No pressure, Coach J!! Guru, what do you mean by turn the corner? Are we talking about getting a win? Playing them close consistently? Winning half the games or more? I won't use the term messiah, but I will say Ballard can make 6A football MUCH more interesting if they are able to win half or nearly half of their games against T & X over the next few years. IF that happens, clearly the credit should go to Coach Jackson. It is his relentless commitment that keeps the program on track.
