Back in the 70's I played for Frankfort High and coach Raymond Webb. 90% of the time coach only played freshmen and sophomores on the jv and a few juniors who didn't get any playing time on the varsity. My junior year I started varsity on both sides of the ball at end, and my cousin had been moved from QB to end on the varsity. I had been wanting to play some fullback, so coach agreed to let us play, but not on defense. We were playing Harrodsburg, and they did something coach didn't care for and before you knew it I was at end and my cousin was at QB and we threw the ball all over them. Of course we ended up playing defense. That's the only time I can remember coach doing that. I weighed 135 my junior year, so I looked like a freshman it sure was fun.

I can't believe no one wants to hear my story my feelings are hurt.

I played for coach Webb from 70-73 a great defensive coach and top notch person. We are still pretty close ,and I consider it an honor to be his freind.

It was on their field and they were ranked 1 or 2 whichever poll you look at, and we played without one of our best players, so yeah I would consider it an upset.

As far as crowd attendance yes. Danville fans are a perfect example. Unless it's Boyle County their attendance for regular season games is pitiful.

I think Louisville is about as close to a central location as you're going to get with a place that has top notch facilities. Lexington is no where near a central location.

Haven't seen any film on Hardin yet, but going with records I'll have to go with Frankfort in this one. It will be senior night for FHS and we will be honoring a special group of kids. If you haven't been to a Frankfort game in awhile come help send these players out on a high note.

I don't think Coachbuckett is misleading you. The playoffs are more important.

I would have to agree that the main problem at WHHS is too much parent involvement. They have had a few very good coaches that have left for that reason.
