I wouldn't, After the schedule Dixie has played I'm pretty sure their not going to be intimidated or feeling sorry for themselves. In addittion I'm sure their probably happy to be on Holmes side of the bracket, away from Cov Cath and Highlands.

Agreed, I thought he would be big match up problem for the colonels, instead he had 5pts and 7 rebounds. He didn't spend much time under the basket on offense or defense, he had a tough time coming out on the floor to guard Lawson.

Pennick was non factor for the Panthers tonite and they really needed him to be.

If Dixie is shooting the ball well, their open post offense is scary and tough to guard, and they can play with anybody. However if their not hitting from deep they can be blown out by anybody.

Does any feel Ludlow could beat Dixie, 6'8 D1 talent against Dixie's guard loaded squad. It's a stretch but this could have the making for an upset.

With Ludlow having a D1 talent in Pennick, they maybe able to steal one from the undersized Colonels and head into the region as a district winner.

What are some of the trap games out there that could send a favorite home early.

That doesn't change my assessment of their season, was Coach Reitz was just saving his good stuff for the districts? With all the expectations that have continued to surround the Camels at 13-13 they have underavheived, or are overrated. The observation will not change just because Coach Reitz is on the sideline.

Cambell County has been extremly over rated or they have sorely undercheived, I'll guess will find out in three days.

I'd say those 3pts make a big difference and were sorely missed, didn't they lose by 2.

They are playing well, but will they be able to put it togeather when it really counts. NCC is more disciplined and I give them the edge with coaching. But Newport has the talent, I just made the easy pick. I guess i'm just gutless.

Thats all he has at 6 foot is a two hander and a reverse.j/k I think the impressive thing about Arez is he is six foot and still plays up by the rim.

Here is my order on a teams likely hood to win based on the season and the district they have to go through. 1) Holmes- still theirs to lose 2) Highlands- The biggest threat to the Dawgs, no matter who is playing 3) Cov Cath- They played some tought teams close, and their Cov Cath 4) NCC- They proved against Holmes their worthy. 5) 33r Winner- Who knows with that district. 6) Dixie- They all got to get hot, but they got the shooters 7) 33rd Runner up- see #5 8) 34th Runner up- Really no chance, but I had to make it an even 8 While I think the cream will rise to the top and it will turn into a battle between the top three, I think teams 4-7 could could give the top teams a scare and possibly an upset. Top teams left off because I don't think they'll make it out of their district. 1)Holy Cross- who might mess this whole thing up. 2)Newport- it's Newport anything could happen 3)Beechwood- Dawgs will be just to much 4)Whoever doesn't come out of the 33rd- ???????

Dixie is really missing Josh Keener, he brings a toughness to the team that is sorely missed, not to mention since they start five guards when one goes down, depth becomes an issue.

Sam Lawson of Dixie will get there before the end of the year, don't know the exact number but he is close.
