I was there to witness the game. Dixie shot the ball very well especially Keener who ended up with 25. Every time SK made a run, Dixie had an answer for it. I really like Dixie's offense which opens the floor up for people to take their man off the dribble and creates opportunites for the open man. More coaches in N. Ky should run this type of offense because it works and puts a lot of pressure on the defense.

I was there, and is that the Dixie player's name I thought they were saying Diener???? Dixie had a excellent night shooting the three ball. The Dixie player looked like Ritchie Farmer tonight. I can only offer up congratulations to the Colonels they played the better game and were the better team on the floor tonight!

The Colonels had really good team chemistry tonight. Keener was "hotter than a pistol".

 

This should be Dixie's modus operandi in the tournament. There are seven players who are capable of having hot nights, and it is not unrealistic to think that several can do it on the same night. They've done it in spurts (like the first quarter against Cov Cath) throughout the season, but have not sustained it for four quarters prior to tonight.

Seemed like the ceremony took a long time... combined girls, boys, cheerleaders.

 

They should have swept the floor afterward. There was a lot of slippin' and slidin' going on in the first quarter.

Congrats to Dixie. They will be on a 5-game winning streak as they enter the regional tourney. They will not go down easy with the group of seniors leading the team. Now that they are back to full strength, with the experience gained from playing the best in the state, they could be a real darkhorse in the 9th.
