Lets hear who you think takes an early exit suprisingly.

From the 38th District Nicholas County and Harrison County.

Neither of those teams are the favorite!

I think the best chance for a favorite to lose will be Scott County in the 42nd and LexCath in the 43rd.

One thing for certain, either Hazard or Perry Central is out in the frst round of 54th.

What are some of the trap games out there that could send a favorite home early.

In the 14th:

I think Hazard will defeat PCC @ hazard

also KCC will beat JBS

buckhorn will make it a game against Leslie

going with Powell in the upset over Estill

Lex. Christian vs. Lafayette, Harrison Co. vs. Pendleton Co., Cov. Holy Cross vs. Cov. Catholic, those are just a few I could think of, off the top of my head. I'm sure there are many others.

Central Hardin could be a spoiler in the 5th. They have been playing very well of late.

In the 9th you would have to consider the Holy Cross / CovCath game a possible trap game. Not sure that CovCath is considered the region favorite but certainly one of three talked about.

I also think that Beechwood / Holmes could prove interesting. That doesn't mean that Holmes couldn't win big, because they certainly could. However if Bwood shoots well this game is much more than a formality for the Bulldogs.

With Ludlow having a D1 talent in Pennick, they maybe able to steal one from the undersized Colonels and head into the region as a district winner.

Either way they should be in the district unless they are upset by Lloyd. Which is way more likely than Ludlow beating Dixie.

In the 35th Distict Covington Holy Cross meets Covington Catholic at Holy Cross. That is the #1 team in the region meeting the #4 in 1st Rd action. It would be a huge upset and the story of the year.

I would not call it a huge upset....

I agree with aau. The first match up was very close at HC and don't know why this would be any different.

:thumb: Nor would I call it the story of the Year..
