Is it truth or hearsay when one posts that "the coach handled the situation quite well." Oh my, whom do I believe? It is just so confusing! Genuine question: how did the coach handle it? Publicly since it was witnessed by two fans. If it wasn't out of line, why would there be a situation to handle? SB, obviously I wasn't at this game, because I was at Raceland. Are you saying this didn't happen? If it didn't, please accept my apologies. If it did, please address the question. If the "situation" had been controlled during the JV game, perhaps this player wouldn't have been "t'd" up in the varsity game. (Disclaimer: all questions asked on the assumption that the previous post by likes2watch is true.) To quote the great christian author, James Dobson: "If a child crosses a boundary and you don't hold up your end of the discipline, you are failing your child. If you promise a kid an icecream cone, you'd better get them one. If you promise them a punishment, you'd better hold that end up also."

It was an incredible night in Ramland. I heard one dad tell Trimble that he was all class, including Sexton. She gave her all to those girls for several years and when she hugged the seniors, I heard her say, "These are my freshmen!" Trimble, McAllister and staff have taken Sexton's great foundation and built a quality team. Winning is great, winning a championship is even better, but the life lesson from Trimble that these girls witnessed last night is priceless. GO LADY RAMS!

My question is: Why is this permitted/allowed by her/their coaches? Where were they when this was happening?

That would depend on what the player was saying and what the ref heard. To me it wouldn't matter if it was in the ref's face or away from him. If what was said, was in earshot of the ref, and the ref felt it justified a T, that is all that matters.

In a totally classy move, Coach Trimble invites former head coach Kim Sexton from the crowd to join in cutting down the nets. What a great way to celebrate! Congrats Lady Rams! Now go make some noise in Richmond!

That is terrific that he is just 15. He has 3 more years to grow! The future looks bright for this kid.

One should never underestimate the defense that Coach Thomas and his ladies bring to the court each and every game. Great win ladies!

I, for one, love watching Queen play, and no I am not from RH.

If anybody will work hard to return to the court, it will be Vanderhoof. She truly has a love for the game and won't let anything keep her from playing. To RH, you guys are a quality ball team. Good luck the rest of the season. In an earier thread, it was said that the younger girls had to step up and play some ball. #10 did just that tonight. She hit some key shots to keep RH in the game.

Great win for the Lady Rams. The Porter girls played great defense against Queen and Terry, holding them to just 6 and 4 in the first half respectively. Great team win. Good game plan by Trimble and his staff.

I think Raceland's defense may be tougher than they are given credit for.

YAK will be sitting on the Raceland side, I'm sure. Aren't you, Ramland? j.k. If Raceland comes out strong, this should be a great game. They definitely have the talent to bring home the W and with the homecourt advantage, I'll go Raceland by 6. Good Luck to both teams.

I agree. At WR, Chris Lacks set some school records and definitely would be my pick for that position. He was trained by Parker and is currently playing at Campbellsville. Going back to the late 1970's, I'd have to put Donny Rowe in the running for quarterback and also Don Rambo in the OL and DL positions.
