7:30 at Sayre

The 11th region kicks off their All A tourny with the host sayre spartans playing the Lexington Christian. Who do you guys think will win it all?

Dunbar pulled out a tough one. Bowman was back for Henry Clay. Does anyone know any information on this game

Two top 25 teams. Dunbar 24 and Henry Clay 17 this will be a tough match up with lots of run and gun basketball. who do you think will win?

The way Sayre is playing right now (beating henry clay, Boone and Oldham co) they are among the contenders. Dee Smith and Trae Cunningham are playing really well. Also Rose Hill may be a team to watch for.

I watched Boone lose to a tough Sayre team in the Williamstown Tournament. Highlands will be tough but i think Boone will pull it out in the end

Sayre Gaurds 5'8 Dee Smith #31 and 6'3 Trae Cunningham #44 both scored 24 apiece. Henry Clays 6'5 Aaron Boyd #22 played well scoring 24 as well but that wasnt enough to hold off the Spartans. Even with Bowman being there it might not have made that big of a difference. Cunningham handled Boyd well in the second half and Smith made several clutch 3's. Sayre has another big game 1-23-07 against LCA in the first round of the All "A" Region. All "A" Region will be hosted at Sayre. Cunningham and Smith are both playing at the top of their games, this definitly makes them contenders to win All "A" State.
