CSI, what do you mean by your statement of Hazard will not have the same team they had in the summer at KBA. Do you mean they'll be better or worse???? Just wondering.

How have they done this summer??? Haven't heard anything about them, and I thought they returned several of their better players from their sweet sixteen team.

Is Johnson Central playing there. They were all over this board last summer and I haven't heard anything about them so far this summer. Wondering how they were doing, how many they returned from last years sweet sixteen team. Coach Starns obviously did a great job last year, just wondering what is expected of them this coming year? Also where is Ballard playing and how are they doing? Probably the or at least ONE of the pre-season state champ favorites.

Oh no doubt. That is one reason summer is hard to judge by. My team this summer got beat by a team by 24, and 2 days later beat the same team by 14. Same players both days on both teams. In the summer you just never know.

Kind of surprising that Logan would be able to upset them as they lost like 12 seniors from last years state semi-final team, but I know Mark Hatcher does a great job up there, and has a good program.

I agree, the quantity looks better here, but the quality looks better at Frankfort. Too bad these two run on the same weekend. I would have to agree that Scott Co. should be the favorite with Shelby & S. Laurel giving them some competition.

Doesn't make much sense unless Bart Flener is taking one of the open jobs. I have seen his teams play, and he is a much better coach than i think he gets credit for.

If the appeal for Haddix fails, does anyone know his plans? Prep school is an option, or playing in another state is a possibility. I know here in Florida you can repeat the 8th grade, but once you START the 9th grade you only have 4 years of eligibility.

Should make the deal in Frankfort very interesting with Mason in there with the likes of J-town, Lex. Catholic, Holmes, Henry Clay, Central, PRP, Central, Lafayette, Tates Creek among others.

I saw his team play several years ago at the Steamboat Classic in Memphis and was very impressed with his team and coaching. Do they still have the Steamboat Classic, and if so do many or any Kentucky teams still participate?

The coach at GRC, did he used to coach at Simon Kenton???

Haven't heard much on this job, or Trigg County, Desales, Owensboro, and I thought I read somewhere the Owensboro Catholic job was open.

What kind of job is the Owensboro job as far as returning talent, support, chances to make the sweet 16 and compete for a state title?

It must have been before that because I checked the Fayette County site on Wednesday and the job was not up there at that time.
