The News got more specific then BGP rules allow.

6 players were suspended for five games. It is on News Five right now. Apparently this is well known. I hope Holmes can learn from this and win the 9th. They have the most talented team in NKy and IMO the most talented since the Highlands team with Smith and Lorenzen. Depending on who is suspended I think they may lose several in a row.

Not in basketball. With Willie I did, but not now.

I'd say the South East people in CC are the best I've seen. I've played on the West Side of Cincinnati too and noone compares. I saw a team throw 3 games in a row of nothing but cornholes. They kept saying, "Don't worry, this is what we do," and they weren't kidding.

Some of my friends actually were violent. Not towards students either. Towards parents. Not a Dad either. There have been some ugly situations in the past.

Actually PC's biggest rival is Bracken, but they've steered the dislike to Brossart. CC doesn't like Brossart. Bracken doesn't like Brossart. I see a trend!!!!

It's kind of the North and South battle. Things have been ugly between Brossart and PC the last few years, but that's because both teams had GREAT talent.

Falmouth's downtown has changed drastically over the past year or two. It is very clean and nice down there. I lived in Pendleton County for 25 years. I've seen 2 women chew tobacco. One was a Campbell County girl on a dare, and the other was some old women at my church growing up who would actually snuff it.

Brossart has had better teams in the past and have they ever been ranked that high? Either way it's something that I'm sure the kids are enjoying.

Is he taking supplements???? If so, he needs to stop. Did they test for dehydration? Those all sound like symptoms to me. I've seen one guy pass out from working out and it was heat/supplement related. I know the guy takes supplements, and he was in a group workout class on a VERY hot day this summer. He just dropped. When your son threw up that could have factored in to the hyperventilating theory because he couldn't get proper oxygen. This on top of the heavy workout could have assisted in him passing out. However, unless he is overweight, has asthma, or is taking supplements (typically fat burning supplements or anything that could affect his heart rate) this would be extremely rare.

Campbell County- Anyone??? I don't know about teams past the mid 80's.

Alexandria, and I rep the ABC... Alexandria, Butler, Cincinnati, and everywhere in between.................. That made almost no sense!!!!

4 classes and 4 sweet 16's would work!!!!!! Then the Final 4!!!!!!! That would be sweet!!!!!

CC is not an easy place to coach. Talent follows talent and a TON of very talented players go to Brossart, NCC, and other schools when they live in CC's district. Reitz could win state if those 3 schools basketball teams combined. CC hasn't had a lot of success lately and I didn't mean that as anything other than that. They haven't won a lot lately. I for one don't think it's the coach (because he's a GREAT coach).

Find one negative thing I've EVER said about a current coach at CCHS. Coach Styer was my football coach and I've known him since I was a baby. He was my uncle's best friend in high school and was always at my Grandma's when I was a kid. I don't know Reitz as well but I just said he is a GREAT coach and a really nice guy. For some reason you find it in your heart to lowball the same people time and time again and it's a joke. I am aware of the details.

He'd pay us 12-15 dollars a game to ref and there would be 3 of us (one on the clock). It wasn't about making money or they would have taken money up at the gate (which they did not it was collected in a bucket). The kids in the league only paid about 20 dollars a piece and some of that went to shirts. WE NEVER had enough money in the bucket to pay the officials. I ran a gym and we'd make 60 dollars a piece for 5 games (180 dollars total). There would only be about 60-80 dollars in the bucket. Save your old, broke, unjustified accusations for someone who wasn't involved.....

Which is also up for debate. Granted I think Reitz is a GREAT coach and I really like him. I don't like the low blows to former administration and coaching. I was around them and I was not a player, but I worked for the old AD on several occasions and I worked in the intramural program for the basketball coach. I saw the coach work seven days a week 4 months out of the year. Normally working 10-12 hour days during the week and 5 or 6 hours both days on the weekend. People don't understand the sacrifices he made and the work he put in to building a program.

But what has he done for you lately? Coaching at CC is not an easy task.

I would only root for Cov Cath if they were playing a scrimmage game.

Alexander's game against Campbell County when he was a junior was individually the most impressive thing I've ever seen.

Willie-1 regional title at Brossart. Sullivan-1 regional title at CC. Reitz and Code have zero and Brossart is the 3rd best team in the region and I don't think they match up well with 1 or 2.

That's a joke and a slap in the face to their predecessors.....

I think it's a great award and I too think all 3 are deserving.
