No they don't they won't play a Ville school until the final. They aren't a top 2 team in the State. However, since they don't have to play a Louisville school Ryle has a very real chance of going to the state final.

A Ryle coach just told me 7:30 Friday night!!!!

12 the FB does, but they all get rest and they're aren't many more that play both ways.

Depth will kill them then. Ryle is going to run the ball down their throat and Ryle is very deep.

Ryle is enjoying this year's format.

I don't know much about Meade, but if they plan on throwing a lot against Ryle they will be in trouble. CC had a very good passing game and Ryle shut it down. Ryle's front helps too, because CC couldn't run when they tried. Ryle's defense is incredible.

In defense of CC coaches, it was young assistants that were upset. Coach Styer and Culp were very classy.

Not real sure, but they threw some kind of fit after the game.

There is no neutral sight to go to. Are Estill and Powell even in the 10th? Geographically Mason is much better for everyone except for like 2 schools. Why give Montgomery County home court advantage? That doesn't make it fair for Scott, PC, CC, Brossart, etc. etc. I guarantee the fans in the South of the region won't come out like they do in Mason County. People love going to Mason County to watch games. They like going to DeShas' and eating, or going to the pub afterwards. CC, Brossart, and Pendleton also bring a ton of people with Bracken and that won't happen at Montgomery County. I understand homecourt advantage, and I could care less if Montgomery County gets it. That doesn't make it fair for anyone else.

To everyone who thought Ryle's defense was overrated... you were wrong. They straight stopped the pass. Brown was better than advertised and time and time again threw into good coverage and completed passes. Eventually though coverage will win. GRay locked the middle down and called it his own. 25 locked Griffin down. Gray got there late once, and I remarked that he had to get there earlier. He then stood the reciever up and someone else stripped it. Amazing play. 46 had a huge night for Ryle (and apparently upset the CCHS coaches). They ran speed option and tried to option him and he made Brown pay. He crushed him. He also had a big sack. He flat dominated. Ryle would have scored more points had they not thrown one pass the entire game. They did pass some effectively and they can throw the ball, but why throw when the other team flat can't stop your running backs. CC crowd was louder, and bigger on the big side of the bleachers. I sat on the smaller side and mostly Ryle people sat there. Not many people on that side seemed too interested. Ryle might have had more total fans, but not near as many that were into the game.

Ryle hits and hits and then hit harder in the second half. It was a better, closer game than the score shows.

To be fair, we almost have to say top 10 instead of top 5.

Top five is tough. Ronny Dawn should be mentioned because whenever or where ever he shot from there was a good chance it was going in.

The 10th is too big to have anywhere other than MAson or perhaps Montgomery. Again, how is that fair to any other teams in the tenth other than MC and MC????????
