It's been mentioned a few times that 3A in NKY is better than 4A. Duh. That doens't mean 4A in NKY is bad, in fact I think they are as strong or stronger than any other region other than Louisville.

Gray had more carries in the regular season than Murray. Murray isn't on anyone's radar because he didn't have the carries, he split them. He's also probably going to play college baseball somewhere.

Murray has had probably 75 carries the last 3 games. Every time I, or anyone has posted anything about Murray you've had a negative comment. Have I had any negative comments about anyone at T? I have said things like, "Ryle will need miracles to win," yet somehow my thinking Vince Murray is a special player is somehow a reach.....

On those runs it did appear that way. Honestly he's done some things that amazed me and things I've never seen before.

The combo of Murray and Gray is the best backfield since 94. In 94 there were 2 backfields who were as good and I'd put them on the level of Campbell County that year and a step behind Boone of that year. Murray is not Alexander and neither is Gray. I'd say he's on Justin Frisk's level (though different style) and not Alexanders.

Congrats on being rude........ They aren't on the KHSAA site, where did you get them? Are they regular season numbers or do they include the playoffs?

I have never seen a RB hurdle the line of scrimmage and keep his feet at any level of football. I've seen him do it 3 times. Jumping over a person I've seen, the dive over the line, a million times, never have I seen anyone other than Murray hurdle the line, land, and keep running.

I'm not a Ryle grad, player, former coach, and I'm not associated in any way with the school. 2 of my friends are coaches at Ryle and I like football so I've been to a few games. Murray is legit and that's not an opinion.

You've obviously never seen him. He does things I've NEVER seen a football player do on any level. I've seen him hurdle the LOS several times. Then he landed and cut. After another hurdle he cut then stiff armed a LB to his back. Granted it wasn't Trinity and I respect that, but Murray is a D1 football player if I've ever seen one.

Ryle offers a TON of different looks on defense.

They dominated Ryle in the scrimmage, but that was without Murray and their QB was hurt on the 1st play of the game.

I agree, but on passing downs he's a 6'2" 225 pound DB right in the middle or he's blitzing.

He's not a difference maker....

I agree, but I think they could play with either of them at this point. They have improved tremendously and Vince Murray wasn't getting the carries like he is now.
