I responded to this yesterday. There are problems that need fixed and nobody is fixing them so I'll keep posting them. I'll ask again, where is all the positive posts about UK? If there isn't positive things to discuss what should I do?

I'm about 90 percent positive AW averaged a DD as a sophomore because he had a streak of a lot of games. In the NBA where there are more rebound opportunities and more minutes he did it once. Better????????????? Can anyone translate that for CATS and UKMUSTANGFAN so they don't think I'm somehow ripping Tubby?

Why not? Roy Williams and Coach K live up to it. I'm personally not looking for national championships every year, but final fours should be reachable every now and again. He hasn't consistently landed all americans and IMO that is a problem.

-Winning a championship w/ Pitino's players (my favorite) -Silly comparisons to Billy Donovan when Tubby owned him up until last year -Final Fours are easy to reach -They play a boring style (even though if it's played right, it wins) -he didn't recruit Lofton (guess what? nobody else did either) I don't say that. I compare Tubby to all coaches, not just Billy Donavan and I think that's fair. I don't say that. It is boring and it cost us Branden Wright, and Tubby himself said he was going to change it and didn't. Again I understand why Loften was not offered a scholly. However, everything I say is "repeated" and "old" and I'm a TBer because I complain about recruiting and the obvious lack of talent Tubby has brought in over the years.

Rondo was forced to play slow tempo basketball. All his athletic ability that made him better was taken away. Crawford leaving as a freshman would have wiped out 2 years of eligibility so that's why he didn't leave. Plus when he returned he started getting more minutes. Tubby found a fax to keep Morris around. What did Rondo ever cry about? I don't recall him complaining ever. I recall Tubby complaining about him. Patterson is a physical presence right now. He might not be a great player at first, but he's athletically gifted and has been labeled as a hard worker. I haven't bashed Tubby for recruiting top 20 players ever. That would be absurd. IMO the people who complain about the juniors are absurd because if we had 4 classes like that we'd be very good. If Crawford plays bad we have a freshman to take his place instead of another AA. If Morris gets lazy or gets in foul trouble we have Woopty Woo. We just don't have the talent and it's not because of the junior class. Look at the bottom of the bench and tell me what they will ever give the program.

If they come to KY and fail/underachieve under Tubby I'll add them to my list. Ky's best 2 players are Morris and Crawford. It's not that they are great, it's just that we don't have a lot of talent compared to the best teams in the country. Rondo wasn't a cancer in my book. He was loved by the Oak Hill coaches, played hard, led the team in most stats, and was told "we will run" when he was recruited. Then it didn't happen. He was handcuffed then made out to be a scape goat. If Morris and Crawford had succeeded in running away from Tubby then we'd be terrible, but he lied to keep one and basically forced the other to stay. Once they get to Lexington they can't leave fast enough and it hasn't been just a few guys, it's been enough to address that it is a major concern for the program.

No they aren't. Most of it is about Rick Pitino. A small portion is about Tubby.

C-Lo wanted to come to KY and told Rick he was waiting for KY. Rick pulled the offer.

Tubby's best teams were with burger boys Bogans and Prince. The Hayes/Fitch/Daniels team was pretty good but I don't ever recall thinking they could win it all. The bold staement is flat crazy. The Juniors and freshman are the only reason KY is 500. The TERRIBLE TERRIBLE sophomores and PITIFUL PITIFUL seniors hold KY back, not the juniors. Mix in some talent with that junior class and we'd have a contender. Imagine if the junior class was as bad as the other 2. KY would have finished below 500. We have 2 McDonald's All Americans right now and if we had 7 or 8 we'd be better.

Telfair went pro for Telfair, Rondo went to UK because of Telfair, and Rick offered C-Lo a scholly.

Race card??????????? Is that why Brandon Wright didn't come here? I doubt it. Recruiting isn't short for race.

Overrated yes, but they still give us a lot more than the sophomores and seniors.

Which is what I said last year. I thought this team was very promising at the beginning of the year, but they've made a turn for the worst.

Find a positive and post about it and maybe someone will be interested. BTW though boring positives like Tubby is a nice guy, and Bobby Perry plays the piano are broke and nobody is going to post. Negative things happen and negative posts are made. Find me something positive that's actually relevant. Find me PP's LOI or JL's. You'll have to look for anything positive.

We had this same discussion last year........... I predict Shag's tutor will take the fall this off-season.

I've gone on the record as saying if PP and JL sign then Tubby is showing signs of turning it around and I will support him again. However, I still root and cheer for KY just like I would if they were good.

I'm sorry but you've seen my arguement here and refuse to accept that it's been disappointing. Instead you'd rather call me a TBer than acknowledge that more players under Tubby have not lived up to expectations than have. Rondo, Parker, Crawford, Stone, Ramel Bradley, Morris, Michael Bradley, Sheray Thomas, Woo, Shag. Tubby can coach, he's a VERY good coach. He's proved that time and time again. My problem is recruiting and the lack of fixing it. For all the porojects we have (about 3 recruits a year it seems like) how many pan out? Aren't they projects for a reason? Why recruit 9 untalented 7 footers? Maybe Tubby recruits kids who aren't that good so they don't fail. Maybe he didn't want another disappoinment like Marvin Stone so instead went after Bobby Perry who wasn't ever good enough to let anyone down.

Why do you have to click in every single thread about it and post then?

His biggest flaw is he has to compete with UNC every year. If the prospect train only made one big stop in UNC could you imagine?

Isn't he going to win it all this year?
