  1. I’ve been tooting his horn on here for a while. Glad others are taking notice!
  2. I don’t understand why this story isn’t getting more traction.
  3. Until you all start watching doors and tracking flights, your rumor game is lacking.
  4. It was time, unfortunately. The Legion of Boom has been dead since Browner left, though. Browner and Chancellor brought the boom. Sherman and Thomas were the cover guys.
  5. Rupp Hall Sutton Pitino Smith Gillispie Calipari The pattern seems to indicate that it'll be someone solid but under-appreciated in the grand scheme, followed by a drunk.
  6. If you have SiriusXM on demand, you can hear me on the January 23 episode of the game show "70s 80s 90s Now" on Volume. The episode expires in 8 hours. :lol2:
  7. This thread has me concerned about you. :lol2:
  8. My wife was not there for it, but she tells the story every chance she gets as if she witnessed it herself.
  9. Thanks to Spotify, I've re-discovered Guy Clark lately. Great songwriter.
  10. While I like his music, I've heard nothing but bad things about Mark Kozelek as a person. The Red House Painters made some of the most depressing music I've ever heard, and I loved it.
  11. I hate pickles. I hate the way they smell. I hate the way they taste. I hate everything about them. So once, I ordered a calzone from a local pizza place. I picked it up and got out to my car. I was driving to my house, when I smelled that smell that only a pickle could emit. I reached down in the bag, and there was a nasty, awful, disgusting pickle. (Pickles and calzones may be a common thing, but I didn't understand then and I don't understand now.) Not being able to stand the smell any longer, I rolled my window down and threw the pickle out. But I learned a valuable lesson that day, as the wind picked up the pickle, blew it back in, and smacked me in the face. Pickle litter is litter, folks. If you think otherwise, the world will smack you down.
  12. I've been with my wife since I was a sophomore in high school... 14 years ago. She was a freshman. We haven't had an argument in the last 11 years. We have the occasional disagreement, but it doesn't escalate. I'm extremely passionate about music. I used to play drums, but moved in to an apartment where the noise would never fly. Sold my set, and would love to have it back. I have an older sister and two younger brothers. And I never take myself too seriously.
  13. There's a misconception that non-profits aren't out to make money. They absolutely are. They just aren't doing it to line pockets of individuals.
  14. Doesn't matter as far as the punishment that would be handed down to UK, but it should matter in the perception of how this impacts Cal. It won't, because that doesn't fit the narrative, but it should. I'm sure there's more here, though. It's just a matter of it all coming out. I'm just glad I don't live and die with Kentucky basketball like I had when I was a teenager. The younger me would be taking this a lot harder.
  15. With all of the rumors going on regarding other programs across the country, I'd be very apprehensive to get too excited about any team's sorrow.
  16. I know it's been coming for some time, but the precedent has officially been set. UofL's scandal is worse than the academic fraud that occurred at UNC. I'd like to meet the star baskbetall player who went to a school because he had the opportunity to party with an escort.
  17. Enjoy the NCAA while it lasts. It's the beginning of the end.
  18. So you're okay with them playing on a basket in front of the student section, but not in the second half?
  19. The Wire Seinfeld Gilmore Girls West Wing Parks and Rec The Office That 70s Show Friday Night Lights Countless others.
  20. Here I was thinking people would be lining up to talk to me about the excitement of annual escrow analysis, but it seems like you all have some interesting jobs as well. :lol2:

    Flood Advisory

I know this certainly isn't as exciting as snow, but I hope people pay attention to this. Specifically in EKY, the creeks and rivers are up significantly from the weekend system. We don't need a ton of rain to bring significant flooding at this point.
