  1. I did. I consider that to be the negative circumstances. I don’t think it excuses their behavior.
  2. These kids grew up with social media in their face 24/7. They’ve got to know better. This stuff needs to be behind us. Hate begets hate, and we need to be better as a society. This stuff can’t keep being dismissed. There were a lot of negatives in the circumstances surrounding these videos. That should never be used as an excuse. “What did the boys do wrong other than........” Come on, man. Accountability. “Kids will be kids” is so tired.
  3. I suppose Kentucky only hit shots they never miss.
  4. I’d have kicked as well. Converting on 4th and 6 wasn’t a lock by any means. Take the points and get a stop. I questioned not taking timeouts earlier more than the decision to kick.
  5. It’s been a couple of weeks since I watched, so I can’t say that I remember specifics. I just felt like it had a few too many of those biopic cliche moments where the artist has the musical epiphanies and discovers their biggest hit. There were a couple of times that I’m pretty sure I scoffed. :lol2: I loved the Mike Myers cameo. I thought that was executed perfectly as a great tongue in cheek moment. I don’t generally love biopics for this reason. I always want to, but rarely do. I would’ve preferred this be an HBO miniseries so they could really take their time and show things without accelerating the timeline/skipping over years. But I get it.
  6. I didn’t really like it that much. Felt rushed and unbelievable.
  7. UKMF, have you contacted US Bank? I had a similar issue when I paid off my auto loan, and they put me on a different option that only required I maintain a savings account to avoid fees. Some of the perks went away (free foreign ATM transactions, for example), but that wasn’t a big deal to me.
  8. Thought this was a pretty average movie. It was fine, but it didn’t meet the hype for me.
  9. I’m not trying to comment on how anyone else should feel about their team, but if this is true and it’s another scandal, I’m just not sure that I personally could continue cheering on the team. I watch sports to escape, and more and more it’s becoming the thing I’m trying to escape from. It’s been a tough few years to be a Louisville fan. I don’t envy you, and I don’t come with jokes.
  10. Very rarely.. I’ve had a couple of others, but not in a decade probably.
  11. When they traded Max Unger (their starting center) and a first round pick for Jimmy Graham, I knew that was the beginning of the end.
  12. The downfall of the Seahawks was aided by having to pay Wilson, but that is the price you pay to retain a good quarterback. But more than anything, I blame the downfall of the team on some players’ inabilities to mentally recover from the decision to pass instead of run in XLIX. I also blame their downfall on poor drafting over the last several years and an inability to replace their aging veterans. I blame trading out of the first round in several drafts because Pete Carroll and John Schneider caught lightning in a bottle a few times and felt that they could do no wrong. Paying close attention to everything the Seahawks have done for 20+ years, it’s an oversimplification to say “they paid Wilson and got worse.”
  13. This is the same model Seattle used to build their squad, so it’s not particularly unique. It’ll be unique if they actually do cut Goff loose after his rookie deal, which I doubt happens.
  14. It’s heavily rumored that Puffy put out a hit on Tupac when we was trying to show muscle. It’s also rumored that he wasn’t serious but dealing with serious people and they took it as a legitimate request.
  15. Not a ton these days, no. I don’t know much about MGK. I just know I thought the rhymes were weak, the disses felt like elementary school, and the hook was corny. This could be the best track of all time, but I don’t care for it.
  16. He had no fear, but I don’t think he said anything.
  17. I can’t believe anyone liked MGK’s track. I am so far removed from all of this, clearly.
  18. Eminem put this to bed. I may be in the minority, but I thought MGK’s track was weak. Your beard is weird? I’m tired of your sweat suits? Yeah, weak.
  19. I’ve got the DVR set, but this isn’t one I’ll stay up for.
  20. The band has been the biggest issue with this movie being made, from my understanding. Everyone has been on board for doing a movie, but they wanted it to be about the BAND and studios and writers wanted the emphasis on Freddie. Brian May envisioned a scenario where Freddie died at the halfway point of the movie. Come on. Boring. Looks like they backed off of that sticking point. But it’s been several years in the making. It looks good. I hope it meets my expectations.
