THUNDERBIRDS

The Horn's toured Highlands this week. And so have others......Would be a nice pickup for a program on the rise and doing some good things.

Simon Kenton was led by the Illinois commit Soph Macy Krohman on the mound. SK has a very nice team.....Highlands gave up 9 runs in 2 Innings and never really threatened to Score. Highlands needs to get better in the Batter's Box in order to make a run in the 9th.

Highlands was led by 8th grader Carly Cramer who had 3 hits with 3 RBI's. Her very 1st Varsity Start. 8th grader Kennedy Baioni went the distance on the mound.

Final from Ft Thomas. Freshman Gracie Schlosser goes 7 innings for the Bluebirds to get the Win! Not many Highlights other than Two double Plays for the Birds. Next up Wednesday at St Henry.

The Birds with the Hot Bats and Speedy Base Runners take down the Wildcats in Ft Thomas. Highlands 8th grader Kennedy Baioni goes the Distance. Next up for Highlands is Loveland Ohio Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Ft Thomas.

This was all Highlands early and Often. NCC did have a top of 1st Two run Bomb but after that it was Highlands speed and the Crafty pitching by 8th grader Kennedy Baioni and Freshman Gracie Schlosser that kept NCC off Balance for the remainder of the Night. Sorry I don't have much stats for either team. Would like to give props to the NCC Soph transfer from Cincinnati McNicholas for the Big Long ball but I don't have her name. It was nice! Highlands is now 3-4 on the season.

Just returned from Indian Shores Florida. It's our annual Spring Break spot. Love it there..... Headed to Norris for our Annual Lake Trip in Mid June. Also head to Sandusky Oh for a Baseball Tourney right before the 4th of July. Then hopefully somewhere in August or maybe later for my 50th Birthday. But with Middle School Football it always conflicts.

I was blessed to Coach Brycen for One year in the 7th grade. What a Coaches Dream to Coach! Has a Motor that can't be taught. One of the if not the most Skilled players outside of Beau Hoge that I had the Opportunity to Coach in Middle School. His 8th grade year he moved up to Freshman. IMO, there will be more Offers that follow! Congrats Hudy Lite!

Erlanger Veterinary Hospital. Dr Tony Schuman has been my Brittany's Doctor for about 10 years. Dr. Schuman saved our Champ from an accidental Antifreeze scare as a young dog and surgically repaired his Ankle a few years back from chasing a Squirrel.:jump:

Big Win for the Bluebirds on Sat night in Ft Thomas as they continue to have a great Season with or without the Kids that didn't want to trust the Process. Ben Sisson 17 points 10 Rebounds 4 Assists & 3 Blocked Shots. Nice job Teddy! Sam Vinson got back to action and had 6 points. Hit what to prove the game winner as he drove the Baseline and got the +1 Basket with 6 seconds left. Nate Roberts 8 points & 5 Assists Ryan Leigh also netted 8 points. Go Birds!

Sean Culley from New Jersey is deceased. The paper doesn’t say how it happened but I have multiple sources including my Daughter that heard a load Boom when it happened. That particular Dorm has a Rooftop Study Garden that he jumped from. He wasn’t a resident of their dorm. Jewell is one of few if not the only One that has Rooftop access. An Engineering major! Prayers for everyone involved.
