We can't complain we are on an Island and no one cares - I could care less who we beat in the Finals - However beating X in the finals is a lot of fun - especially when they don't see it coming -

Knute - had to respond -everyone says we(T&X) can draw from anywhere - well that is true if we can find a kid in - say Oldham County - All the parent has to do is drive him there and pay $8500 per year. I know parents everywhere are lining up for this especially all of the gifted athlete parents. It is not as simple as getting kids from everywhere...Its matching the desire to go to T or X with the resources to pay for it. NOT SO EASY.

I never said we were head and shoulders above X & Male, I am simply stating facts - 4 out 5 - I guess if we were 5 out of 5 that would seal it.

Age makes a difference - The majority of Freshmen stars are a year older than the other freshmen. Someone asked why penalize a kid if he is held back. I ask why penalize the other kids and let him play as a year older? I like youth league baseball - all done by age - 19 is to old to be playing high school sports.

I know an assistant at St. X that received his ring at no cost.

Are you ready for the answer - here it is. Trinity dominates football (5 out of 6 State Championships) because they play together as one unit. If you have a Chris Lofton he can elevate your whole team. In basketball 20% of your team on the floor is 1 player. There are schools everywhere that have at least 1 good player. In football it takes many good players or a group of average players that are motivated to move as one unit. That is the secret. Please do not tell anyone as I do not want the KHSAA to make a rule that says private schools cannot play as one unit.

I agree - With school out THS had about 5 students at a home game.

Papa John's is the place they should all be played. There is nothing better than beating St. X in front of the largest crowd possible...

I have never seen Henry Clay before last night. During warm-ups they were talking trash the whole time. "A HC coach" yells to his players "Lets disrespect them in their house they are Trash". Trininty says nothing. As the teams are coming on the field, Trinity waits for the visitors to go first - they don't. So Trinity takes the field - Of Course - HC comes out at the same time. Then HC goes to the middle of the field and stomps the "T". It is obvious to me that discipline doesn't exist at HC. They humiliated their school last night. HC was the biggest team Triinty has played all year and had some very talented players. The only difference between the teams last night was not Public vs. Private but Disciplned vs. Non - Disciplined.
