We are getting close - Who will win? What will the score be?

St.X will make Trinity pay for the state championship last season.

St.X - 40

Trinity - 26

It may be close, but it still isn't time. I can wait to discuss this.

Hey St. X fans.... Do you think you just might want to think about the game with the team from Ft. Thomas tomorrow, before you start thing about Trinity.... As they say, one game at a time or you just might wind up getting your butts whipped, if you think this game is going to be a walk over......

I agree

You've called out the wrong people. This thread was started by a Trinity fan. We fully understand the task before us against Highlands tomorrow, and are definitely not overlooking the Bluebirds. We will come to play...just like we did last year.

On the thread topic, it's way too early for this.

Wow, "butts whipped" huh? I guess the Tigers could surprise me and lose this game (I actually think they will win by a pretty good margin) but "butts whipped"? I'd bet if the birds do pull the upset it won't be anything that could be called a butt whipping. JMO.

I concur. Not relevant just yet.

Please let's not start this yet....

Sorry, I didn't realize it was a Trinity fan who started the thread.

Do I think the Team from Ft. Thomas will win?? NO, but if St. X looks ahead to their next game, and forgets about that Team from Ft. Thomas, yes they could get their butts whipped... The Team from Ft. Thomas is very good this year....... Should be a very good game.......

If you're talking to players & coaches, you're absolutely right: one game at a time; don't overlook anyone.

I you're addressing FANS (& it says so in your post) we can talk about any upcoming game in any order we wish! ;) OUR opinions and focus is irrelevant to the game played on the field; our only job is to cheer our teams! :D

Define "butts whipped". If if means blown out, I'd say the chances are slim to none. If it just means beat, I'd say the Birds have a chance. They're not the favorites in my opinion, but they have a chance for sure.

I have not seen either team play. The only things I can base my opinion on are the objective, unvarnished facts posted on BGP by all of the impartial observers and arbiters of all things X and HHS. Having made this disclaimer, it will be a very close game with Victor Anderson being the difference. HHS has a tremendous tradition and an equal amount of pride, I'm sure.

Too early....can't wait till 1pm to watch X and HHS on the tube....
