I don't think Rose Hill will be able to slow Elliott County's offense down much. Euton and Jackson will have to take advantage of the pressure defense and knock down shots. Elliott by 15.

Elliott County vs Raceland. That is the game we were discussing.

They are going to have to step it up alot. Fleming seemed to have trouble with pressure and finishing around the basket. They have some good size but not alot of height.

Actually one of those players is still on the team. Russell won early in the year against Fleming County. No reason to think they couldn't do it again. I say its a close game with Fleming pulling it out late in the fourth. Fleming 55 Russell 50

Bath County is a pretty good basketball team. Coach Hicks stepped into a pretty good place to land after the Soap Opera that is Greenup County.

Elliott County reigns supreme in the region. Despite some wishful thinking Raceland never had a chance.

I would say you are wrong but we all have a right to our opinions. This is just mine but if Tubby were still there and running the same system this team would be much better. Granted the injuries have hurt even more but there is something to say for stability and running the same system.

Even though Miller didn't have big numbers through the first three quarters the Mason County offense was much better when he was in the game. He had some nice assists and didn't try to force anything. I do think Miller need to be stronger around the basket like he was in the fourth quarter. He is a great talent.

I hate the FCC. The local cable station blocked out WKYT right after the free throw to put LC ahead.

I voted that Tubby should still be the coach at UK. I like Gillispie and think he will be very successful. But Tubby should never have been run off and then the rebuilding process that is currently underway would not have take place.

Keeping a coach that has been a HUGE part of the recruiting and on the field success that UK has built is the smart thing to do IMO. I really like the move. It adds stability to a program that is on the rise.

I think she was reffering to MC saying "#1 until someone beats them". Which I agree, if they do get knocked off by somebody in the region I still think they are the #1 team.

Believe it or not I do not have a blind hatred of Raceland. I have alot of friends from or involved with the school system. I do have a problem with a few of the Raceland fans but that is it. Raceland has a fine team, no doubt about it. I still think Rose Hill is better and I believe Tuesdays game gives a little credibility to that. We've never met. But thanks for the analysis Dr. Freud. I've seen Coach Dodd do that at JV games before and at Freshman games as well. I just don't think it is in his nature not to yell. Coach Parsley can get very emotional. They seem to be getting along fine. At least I haven't seen any fist fights yet.

I had said I thought East Carter was the second best team in the region but I didn't expect this. Good job Raiders and the Lions get their first scare in the region.
