CountyPride Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Anyone with any info on this? Possibly because of the overuse of younger players, over top of some of their classmates maybe? I dont know anything, just a guess.
FBALL Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I was at the school earlier and saw the team comming into the gym. If any of this is true than I don't think they left on behalf of their classmates. The other seniors were there.
Springsteen#1 Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I am not a Devil fan, but it is a shame when these two fine kids find the best thing for them is to quit. I believe that has to fall back on the coaching staff. I happened to be at a game earlier when there was a banner that read " All I want for Christmas is a new coach" but to hear the Devil backers they have the best staff in the 16th

Coaching is and makes a difference no question but you must have the Jimmy's and the Joe's. I am sure the Russell boys are trying hard but that is the worse team I have seen Russell have in any sports period in history. Good luck to all.
LRCW Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Does anyone finish what they started anymore? It seems like we sure see a lot of this anymore.
Uncle Jed Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Does anyone finish what they started anymore? It seems like we sure see a lot of this anymore. When I was growing up, a long time ago, quitting anything was not an option. Times have changed, for the worse.

It is a shame that a parent would let their kisa quit as much as they do too. Not referring to this situation because I dont know what happened, but parents are not old fashioned anymore either. It is more like "WE will show them" attitude.

You can teach a kid when he's younger to finish what you start, then when they get older they may make better decisions regarding this.

I hope I'm not living in a dream world , but alas I probably am.
