Meade County / John Hardin predictions
This should be a good one. Both John and Meade are coming off opening season wins. Both beat Marion by the same score (Meades last scrimage a week before John played them) and both amassed about the same satistics in thier first game. This has turned into a big rivalry game for both teams. Usually defensive battles with low scoring contest. I think that Meade could pull this one out only because of thier senior leadership and all of Johns new starters. I may be wrong though, because J H has the kind of program to where they just reload every year.

Meade County 2010
This year Meade has the potential to be really good, with a strong backfield and senior leadership the offense is going to put points on the board. The guys in the trench's go 365, 300, 270,250 and 200, there will be holes that will open. What is yet to be proven is, will we be able to stop anyone? In the past we have been traditionally tough on D, but we have yet to go up against anyone but ourselves. With John Hardin and Fern Creek in our first couple games we will have a pretty good idea where we stand and what we need to work on. I am hoping that this may be the year that we will play more than two playoff games.

John Hardin/Oldham County Predictions
Having to play JH every year I know that John has got alot of speed in every position. Their D and O line is not that big but they stay in their spots and make good blocks. John has 3 primary backs that can break the big one at any time. Also their QB can run also. You have got to play then honest because as soon as you put 9 or 10 in the block to stop the run they will throw a 8 yard dump that usually goes for 20 or 30. A good running team can score points on them but the question is, can they match the points that John can put up. John has gt a good program, for the last 3 years it just seems like they reload.

Meade County/Henderson County Predictions
This game will be decided in the trench's. If the Greenwave let Hendo jump on them early with some big scores it will be hard for them to catch up with their ball control ground and pound. If Meade can stop the running game and slow down the passing they should be ok. It will be a tall task for Meade to drive 3 hrs and play in Hendo's atmosphere and come away with the "W". We was down there in 05 when Fiddler and company was there and it seemed that the cannon never did quit going off that night. I am going with the Greenwave just because I think that they will be ready to play and I think that they are playing better team ball right now. Should be a good one!

Meade County 35 Apollo 13
Meade came out and dominated this game on both sides of the ball. 398 yards total offense, with 321 rushing. Apollo had 289 total yards but most of that came in the passing game in the forth quarter with the game already decided. The Greenwave are playing their best football right now. After a tough early season schedule it is finally paying off for these kids. First five games 0-5 Last six games 6-0:thumb:

Meade County/Apollo Predictions
This game could go either way, Meade has been tough recently, going 5-0 the 2nd half of the season after playing a tough non distric schedule. I don't know much about Apollo except they always play a hard schedule and that the previous games with Meade have been great games. I will go with the Greenwave though because of our momentum and home field advantage.

John Hardin 27 Meade Co. 19 (JV)
Did someone fail to mention the phantom inaverted whistle? Meade had the Dawgs on the ropes with all the momentum until a stupid game saving call for John.

Meade County 28 Butler 14
They have a kid who has ran for 1200 some odd yard this year. They play smash mouth up the gut football. They passed the ball last night when they were down 21 in the fourth.

Meade County 28 Butler 14
Meades defense held Butlers running game in check, while the greenwave offense moved the ball staight between the tackles. This was a good win for Meade who has won five staight after starting 0-5.

Meade County 35 Central Hardin 17
Meades deffense intercepted 3 of Bagers passes and scored on 2 of those turnovers. Central could not get anything going and Meade just kept pounding the ball. A tough early season schedule has paid off for the Greenwave.

This game has a home field advantage for the playoffs at stake. What are your thoughts?

Meade County 21 Nelson County 3
Meade had its way with its running game, and when Nelson put 11 in the box had a couple good passing plays too. Nelson plays with alot of heart, their kids showed great sportsmanship and they never quit. Nelson moved the ball and got close but just couldn't get it in. I am glad to see Meade finally get a couple wins. The early schedule that they played could have caused them to give up but they kept on grinding. Good luck to the Cardinals the rest of the season. Congrads to Meade, you fellas keep up the good work!

Meade County 27 Lincoln County 0
Has anyone heard how the big tight end at Lincoln is doing? I hope he is well and our prayers go out to him. Anytime a kid gets carried off the field striaght to the ambulance it is heartbreaking.

PRP Coach Jason Stinson found not guilty on all charges.
Some of the best people I know do not claim to be Christians. I did not want to imply that in any way. There are also some so called Christians that I would not want to be around my kids. I did not know the what the particulars were with the principle , I have a good friend on the PRP coaching staff that I played ball with in high school. Please foregive me if you or anyone else thought that was saying anyone is better just because of thier beliefs. I was talking about role models for our kids. In this screwed up world we live in we need all that we can get.

For me and my house we serve the Lord and I am proud to say that! As for coach Mofield, I am glad that my sons have another Christian mintor. In todays world our kids need all of the positive role models that they can get. We are one generation away from not having a church. Our youth is our future. Everyone has the right in this great country to believe in what they want. Our kids do not have it like we did when we were growing up. The things we had at school I.E. Prayer in school, The ten commandments, and even our countrys pledge is being taken away. Football on Friday nights is just the small piece of the bigger picture called life. If I offended you in any way I am sorry, but it is my kids and our kids that we are taking about. And in todays world I want them to have every chance to succeed. And putting our Lord first is the first step.

For the most part kids who play football come away with more than football memories. Our coaches are role models. Take for instance our coach at Meade, he is a good christian man who not only trys to teach X & Os,but he also teaches how to be good men in our community and how to be successful in life after football and I thank him for that. It takes a special breed to coach our kids, to get home after their kids have already been tucked in for the night. They give up so much more than just 3 hours on the field on Friday nights. Coach Stinson will carry this on his shoulder for the rest of his life, no persons besides the family members of Max feel as saddened as he. In life things are going to happen that we will not and cannot understand. We have just got to let go and know that God is in control. I pray for both families involved in this tragic event, I ask for healing for both families. I also thank all the coaches across the state, our boys will graduate as better men and role models because of football.
