You are right, Apollo ,Central, and Nelson aren't having the best of years ,But on any givin night a team will shine. Meade was the better team last Friday. You and I can make excuses all week , But the bottom line is Meade 21 -Oboro 7 . Meade started out this year 0-3, last year we started out 2-5 then won 6 in a role and made it to the state simis . You cannot judge a team only by its record. You do not know our kids heart, our character , or our will to win . When we were 0-3 we told our kids that ;you have got to hate losing more than you love winning;..... We lost to a good FernCreek team by seven points. We had 2 touchdowns called back and over 200 yards in penalties . Bottom line Fern Creek 19 Meade 14 . No excuses.. John Hardin had too much speed .We had 4 turn overs 1 called back and 170 yards in penalties . No excuses... John Hardin 28 Meade 14 .. Greenwood , we beat them in every defensive and offensive stat except for one; Greenwood 28 Meade 21, no excuses... We respect your record , your accomplishments, and your team , I am sure you guys will be fine. But in the same reguard just accept the loss and give our KIDS (thats what they are you know) the credit that they deserve for beating a fine Owensboro team..............No Excuses

The season records for both teams can be thrown out the door. This is a long time rival game, and both teams seem to play a heck of a game each season. On paper it would seem Meade will win big, But don't expect a blowout either way. This is a good time for Meade to have a letdown after such an emotional win against undefeated Owensboro. This is also an important district game. Meade County 28 N Hardin 10 GO GREEN!!!!!

Defense is what wins ballgames. You spoke of only the offense. Meade did not put seven in the box, they ran a 3-5, 1 nose guard 2 ends . linebackers shot the gaps . Meades defense dominated .In fact they have dominated their last four games, a total of 137 yards rushing combined for four teams . Meades offense has over 1200 yards passing and 1100 yards rushing in seven games thus far. Ask the people who went to the game and they will say Meade was and is the better team . No disrespect taken...But give the Meade kids credit for being the better team after a 20-3 loss last year. Meade seems to start slow every year,last year we started 2-5 and made it to the regional finals. GO WAVES!!!!!!

Meade dominated this game. Owensboro had only 117 total yards of offense . The Greenwave defense did not give up any play for more than six yards . Owensboro has some good ball players that showed great sportsmanship as a team. A non district game for both teams . I am sure that their coach's will look at film and have them ready next Friday . Good luck OHS, and great job Meade Co. keep it up!!!! GO GREEN!!!!!!!

Meade dominated in every stat in this game .unfortunatly in turnovers too. FCs defense scored two TDS.

Meade has had two weeks to study the high output Owensboro offense and their stingy defense . The Greenwave seem to be waking up after an 0-3 start. Their defense has been giving up less than 50 yards rushing in the last three games. Last years team started out 2-5 , but made it to the state simi's . Meade is at Death Valley . Could be a big advantage with 2500 to 3000 fans of the Greenwave Nation. Still I don't know if it will be enough to upset this O-boro team . It will be won in the trench's . I predict 7 points either way.
