This should be a good one. Both John and Meade are coming off opening season wins. Both beat Marion by the same score (Meades last scrimage a week before John played them) and both amassed about the same satistics in thier first game. This has turned into a big rivalry game for both teams. Usually defensive battles with low scoring contest. I think that Meade could pull this one out only because of thier senior leadership and all of Johns new starters. I may be wrong though, because J H has the kind of program to where they just reload every year.

I agree Jeb I think its gonna be a battle could come down to a last minute field goal.

I watched the Meade County game Friday night and watched the John Hardin game Saturday night. To be honest, both teams have a lot of room for improvement. Both teams had way to many penalties, turnovers, missed tackles, and missed blocks. Since it was week 1 I guess it can be expected, but neither team really impressed. On the bright side, both teams have some explosive players and the ceiling is pretty high. John Hardin has Landon Savoy and Jeremy Harness that can break a long run at any time. Meade's QB (Number 7) is very fast and hard to tackle. This should be a good, close game.

You can't forget about #2 Quinsie Brown the transfer from Fort Knox. He rushed for well over 1,000 yards last year and is just as explosive and fast as Savoy and Harness.

# 7 is Thomas Wilson. He rushed for 178 yrds. and also had 2 ints. while playing D

I'll take JH in this one. They have too many weapons for the Green Wave.

Meade has some weapons too. The same backfield it had last year, 8 starters on offense and 8 on deffense. Thomas Wilson is by far a better QB than Meade had last year. 178 yrds. rushing against Anderson. Max Cundiff 101 yards and 3 Tds. Rex Liverman 80 yards. This team has senior leadership and is basicly the same team as last years. John was runners up in the state and beat Meade 22-17 last year with more talented and seasoned team. But like I said earlier, John just reloads. Should be a great game but I still go with the Waves experience and playing at Death Valley.
