Long Time Warrior

Can someone tell me if the local TV crew was at the game. I have been looking for the reair times but haven't seen them.

Two things about this (1) I read what his dad has been saying on another site about this but remember he was the first person to get on that same board and be critical of other players from SW. (2) If I was his parent I would be concerned that he made better grades and got cleared by the NCAA clearinghouse instead of sports at the moment.

I plan on staying out of this, I just don't understand somethings. I guess it wasn't ment for us to know everything.

From Lexington you get on I-75 South, two hours to Ky/TN state line (110 miles) Then onto TN/GA state line two and half hours (155 miles). I gave you the time and miles some people drive faster than others. Have a safe trip.

All of the schools in our area are covered. Southwestern, Pulaski Co., and Somerset. If I'm not mistaken even if they are playing one another each station still carries their teams games. We also have local TV coverage that does game of the week which includes all three teams so each team gets a least 3 plus games on. One time all three were out of town so they came to "The Rock" and did a SW vs Rockcastle for the local TV viewers. BGP top ten was announced each show 1A through 4A. We are very thankful for our football coverage, I read on here how some teams barely get anything.

I'm sure KJ is a great player and very good student but playing QB at WKU may get a little tough. Red shirt freshman Brandon Smith (Boyle Co.) suits up this year. I'd say Brandon gets a few snaps this year in certian situations. I want to wish all Ky. kids well and do your best at all times..................LTW.

^ I couldn't agree with you more. Out of 80 plus and probably 50 plus more that seem to get over looked each year and not find one. In fairness they are looking to sign some in-state players in the next few weeks is what the update rumor is.

Their signing list has none, their offers list has four. Now that doesn't mean they didn't offer more Ky. kids just not kids that were on Rivals. 80 plus kids on rivals from Ky. were looking for scholarship offers.

Here is a thread on this very subject. According to rivals.com EKU offered 4 Ky. kids two went to Ky., one went to WKU., and the other went to Colorado. Does your question mean on the team in a 4 year span? Like from 2002 thru 2005. Kids that went on to play college football when they became seniors in 2006, but yet were on the team as freshmen. Does it also include D1 AA.

Mayfield's Josh Hatchell and Southwestern's Matt McWhorter both signed to play football at Murray State University. Good luck to all these young men that are going on to play college ball!

Murray State University has offered Matt a football scholarship to come play for the Racers. He had a great season and I would like to wish him the best of luck. Big guy your family is very proud of you and your accomplishment on and off the feild............LTW.

I was at the game, met Bob and said hello. I asked him about some people booing him when they announced him and Tubby were there. He said you can't have fans everywhere.

What a great game to go see. If you get the chance to see Mayo, and Walker I would advise so. SL played a heck of a game and did repesent well and above average. NCH was a bit surprised from what I could tell. SL came out overwhelmed in the opening qtr. and didn't play as well but got on tract soon after. As some one stated after Ellis got into foul trouble it was somewhat a match. Great game for both clubs and it was a thrill to see SL play them down till the last 2 min. I told my buddy how embarassing it must have been to be favored by 20 and have to play high school stall ball to pull out a slim win. You never got the feeling that NCH wasn't going to pull it out but you can bet SL got their attention........LTW.
