  1. Why do you even care? Good job seniors.
  2. Who's watching the kids:sssh:
  3. How about "The Lion sleeps tonight"?
  4. On nights like this I would say turf, however I like to see real grass stuck in a helmet.
  5. I hope the Boyd County fans will let us use their tractors after the game to pull our cars out of the parking lot.
  6. I like the good old days of Shippy vs Tussey. Coach Conley vs Tom Scott. And before that Gothard vs Keelin & Chaney
  7. Last regular season game for my son. Time has gone by much to fast. It seems as it was only yesterday he was playing J.F.L. I look for a very fired up Boyd Co. team to come into Putnam. Ashland 28 Boyd 13 Does anyone know who the youngest player to get into a game for the Tomcats is? I know of one player who was 13.
  8. I know the J.V.'s went down there last year and got thumped pretty good. It was strange because as we were watching both teams warm up it was apparent that Ashland had bigger , faster , and what looked like a much better team, and then the game started and the beat down was on. So with that being said Ashland 28 West 14
  9. Ric Flair said it best when he said Wooooooooooooooooooooo!
  10. Sounds like your team has tasted defeat at the hands of the Tomcats in the past.
  11. You would be right wise one.
  12. What was the mistake? On another note: Did the field have a chance to get painted this week?
  13. Your family called they said go to the game.:sssh:
  14. I don't understand why the Russell fans are crying. This game does not mean as much to you all as the Boyd County game, and it gives you another excuse in case of getting beat. We did it for your own safety, you all walk around with your noses in the air it will keep you from drowning.
  15. They sure looked good when they came to Ashland!!!!!
  16. I really don't understand why people get upset when fans question a coach's call. No one will dispute your coach is one of the best highschool coaches anywhere. I will stand by my post that I think Belfry would have won the game in another overtime.
  17. Around 1969 or 1970 Ft Thomas came in to Putnam and kicked the Tomcats butts 63-0 or 63-6. They scored 14 pts in the first 30 seconds.
  18. Does this mean Raceland will be a bigger game next year than Russell?
  19. Frances, That long weekend with Ernest T. Bass has done more harm than any of us expected. I do hope your streak of predictions remains intact. I will wait until the years is over before I say Clark is one of the best from Russell. Ashland 21 Russell 20
  20. I would like to say right off the bat that I have never played nor coached football in my life: I think Coach Haywood made a mistake in overtime going for the win. My thoughts are that Belfry could score in every overtime period and I don't think Ashland could. Ashland has the type offense that once it is inside the 10 has trouble scoring. Belfry on the other hand is well suited in it's style offenseto grind out 10 yards in 3 or 4 downs. Congrats to the Tomcats and I do believe we can beat Russell if our D- line steps up and plays a little better.
  21. Jump on us now because later in the year I think we will be a good team. Ashland 18 Belfry 16
  22. In addition to Snodgrass & Walters, Brian Salyers a projected starter at guard is also out with an injury.
