  1. We went to Costco AND Kroger Saturday, that was tough.
  2. It seemed like every 15 minutes I'd think to myself, I haven't ate in a while, I should eat something before I get nauseous. ?
  3. Not as bad as it sounds. Any time I felt a bit of hunger pangs coming on I would down 8-10 oz of water and it usually subsided. I found myself randomly thinking about food a lot but that was about it. Biggest thing is staying hydrated since you aren't taking in food containing sodium like you typically would.
  4. Just electrolyte powder in water and some electrolyte/sodium pills. I was using a powder called Nectar because it doesn't have any sugar in it.
  5. I definitely noticed a big decrease in stomach bloating, started Thursday and noticed a considerable difference by Saturday after noon. I typically take melatonin frequently before bed. I haven't since Thursday and I've slept better than usual. I also take zyrtec and a medicated nasal spray, I am going to keep up with that, but didn't during the fast and my sinuses actually seemed to clear up a lot as well. I don't drink caffeine typically other than a pre workout in the morning but I didn't seem to notice a huge change in cognitive stuff, probably because I don't do a lot of caffeine and hadn't had alcohol in a few weeks as well. Overall, I think it was worth it. Moving forward it's something I'd consider doing either quarterly or semi-annually. In the future I may consider loading up on a bit more protein before the fast.
  6. I hadn't done really any fasting previously but decided to jump into it this weekend. Finished my 72 hour fast earlier this evening. My primary reason for doing it was gut health and to see if it did seem to help with inflammation.

Has anyone here tried it? Do it frequently? What are your thoughts?
  8. I quit watching. I'm as die hard a fan as you'll find but that game was just too frustrating to watching. The turnovers were sloppy lazy plays. Butler isn't 100% and it really shows around the rim and his ball handling at times. Injuries happens it is what it is but this team looked awful today.
  9. That's been my thoughts from the get go. People are very attached to animals and if the German Shepherd was in poor health or older I could see her giving the dog pills as well. Sad that she didn't feel she had anything else to live for if that is what happened.
  10. I get what you are saying but it's not JUST Kentucky. Small sample size, but from this week's SEC games on Tuesday and Wednesday only one game had both teams fail to score 70 points, Tennessee beat LSU 69-55. As for the remaining games. Georgia 88 Florida 83 Alabama 111 Mississippi 73 Missouri 101 South Carolina 73 Auburn 106 Ole Miss 76 Vanderbilt 86 Texas A&M 84 Arkansas 86 Texas 81.
  11. Probably sleeping because it was close to midnight on a Wednesday.
  12. Garrisons biggest down fall right now is his maturity level. I get the feeling that it's not just what we see on the court but perhaps his overall approach to the team. As for the game, it was ugly but it was a needed win on the road.
  13. Yeah when you start off reading F- for that and an F for food and dining it looks terrible but they weren't ranked too terrible in most other stuff.
  14. I'm curious as to what falls under treatment of families and what the top programs do in comparison.
  15. Butler and Robinson are both listed as probable for tonight's game. I just hope they're close to 100% if they try to play. If not, I'd say let them keep rehabbing until senior night next week against LSU.
  16. The same could be said about any football player on any football play. Injuries are very much a part of the game.
  17. Agreed, especially if Butler is back and possibly Robinson.
  18. I'd say Oregon is a legit threat most years and Washington could potentially make it's way back into the mix eventually.
  19. It should 16 teams. The 4 SEC and 4 Big 10 is probably ok most of the time.
  20. That's been the expectation all along. Butler may be back Wednesday or next Saturday. Still no real time table on Robinson but he is getting better.
  21. Must be due to inflation. ?
  22. Solid win after an ugly first half. I was multitasking while watching the game but it seemed like whatever Pope said at half time, worked.
  23. Not as much moisture as they originally thought? Or just a different set up?
  24. Yeah I wish I would have when they were still racing there. I just never really had the itch for it back then.
  25. I'd be OK with that as well but it's likely wishful thinking.
