I wasn't even 2 when Top Gun came out. I was never very interested in the depth or range he played in that role. But the jets, motorcycles and girls were all great.

Tombstone will always be my #2 for Kilmer, with Top Gun being #1. I was also a big fan of what was essentially the tribute to Kilmer that they did in Top Gun Maverick. I'd say it brought to light for many, just how sick he'd become.

It's being reported that actor Val Kilmer has passed away. Hated to see how much his body had turned on him over the last few years. RIP.

NCAA should set the times somewhat based on time zone. The first set of game were all EST schools, start them at 600 pm and this game starts at 9:28 which is only 7:28 for Houston. For a few decades the NCAA has catered to the west coast and it's probably costing them people watching in the later rounds. My thoughts are start the EST team games 1st at 6-630 and IF there are any Mountain or Pacific Time teams those games go to the second half of games for the night. Seems simple enough. My quick analysis, I think there were only 4 teams in the Sweet sixteen not from Eastern Standard time zones.

Maybe a bit of both. Michigan State has been consistent, at this point that's how they've won games. They've been very consistent when necessary.

They did, but unfortunately UK fans were familiar with the way the game played out. UK had about 4 or 5 games that went the exact same way this year. A couple other games they were able to claw back into it but not tonight. Even though shots weren't falling tonight, it was the lack of rebounding and toughness that put it out of reach for Kentucky tonight. In games like this, UK needed to really kill it on offense in the second half and make sure Tenessee only took one shot per possession, they just didn't do that at all.

That won't last long.

I'm hoping UK didn't just cost themselves the game. No excuse for them to not be up 15 at the half the way Illinois was playing the frst 10 minutes of the game. But instead of seizing the opportunity. Kentucky played equally as bad the last 10 minutes of the 1st half.

Well this is not a good scenario with Oweh heading to the bench early.

Chandler seems to be getting some of Perry's minutes and I'm ok with it. I love that Perry is a Kentucky kid playing for UK but Chandler's athleticism really helps this team sometimes.

Butler is taking a breather on the bench. Let's see if UK can keep the lead.
