Has anyone seen what his NIL deal with UCLA will be? Something I read early on a day or two ago stated it would be less than the 2 million he was going to get at Tennessee. The same person also talked about how much he would get taxed in California compared to Tennessee. Wild if that's true.

I know AAU is more of a basketball organization, but it's basically what some folks in those camps have been waiting their entire life for. It's not JUST the athletes trying to get paid, their handlers see $$$ as well.

Off the top of my head for the NBA, I also think you could add Dirk, Scottie, John, Karl, Shaq, Rajon, Vince and Steph. I will watch the NBA during the playoffs and that's about it but I'd say they likely lead this category.

Agreed that another backup PG would be great. But I also think that Pope will once again utilize his bigs to help distribute the ball this season. That's something that Garrison has shown glimpses of and should probably try to really work on this year. I think the Croatian and Quaintance are both capable of attacking the basket off the dribble from the 3 point line, so if those guys can distribute the ball as well that will be a big help.

With Garrison back, the addition of Quantenance and the Croatian, I feel much better about Kentucky's front court. Mark Pope seemingly handling his first off-season very well IMO.

There were rumors on X floating around that his father is facing a 5-10 years prison sentence. No idea if that's the case or not but I could definitely see that playing a part if true.

Still plenty of time left in the transfer portal to find another PG. If Lewis felt it wasn't going to work out at UK, then I'd rather him decide now rather than being upset with how things play out during the season. Better for everyone.

Not shocked to see Lewis decommit. He likely would've been fighting with Noah and Perry for minutes and they wouldn't have been fighting for many minutes.

I was somewhat surprised when I read an article this morning actually suggesting that the Louisville Cardinals go after Dynes to help add depth to their front court. The article said that Dynes has showed interest in Notre Dame, Northwestern, USC, UCF, and Vanderbilt. I had no idea he was getting that much attention but it makes sense.

That's what is wild. How young he is and strong he is at that age. The kids gonna be an absolute specimen in 3-4 years if he can stay healthy.

As long as he's 100% recovered from his ACL surgery, Quaintance should also help with athleticism and strength in the front court next season.

I don't disagree but I wonder why they don't? If this was a possibility, my take would be to wait until the week after The Masters. College basketball is over, the BIG golfing event that kicks off spring is over and all you've really got left between then and football season is the end of the NBA season and the playoffs.

I could be wrong, but I'm seeing Buzz as a bit of a nomad. He will go where the action is and he'll also go towards something that intrigues him but others may question. There may be underlying issues we aren't aware of but at this point, I'm thinking he does what he wants when he wants and he wanted something different and Maryland can be a solid gig.

I would consider Texas A&M to be very much a football schools. So perhaps it's about perspective.
