16thBBall Fan Posted February 20, 2025 Posted February 20, 2025 The Cats (18-8) (7-6) travel south on Saturday to take on Alabama (21-5) (10-3) in another huge SEC game. The Cats are coming off of an 82-61 win over Vandy at Rupp tonight. The Tide are coming off the 2nd straight loss with 12-point loss on the road tonight at Missouri 110-98. The Tide defeated the Cats at Rupp back in January 102-97. This game is scheduled for a 6:00pm start on ESPN. Go Cats!! 1

FrankNicodemus Posted February 20, 2025 Posted February 20, 2025 It’s going to depend if we get the Cats from yesterday where you have a bad half/good half we will lose. If we get 2 of the 1st half Cats we get embarrassed. If we get 2 2nd half Cats we might just have a ball game! The great thing is, we have it in us….. Can we just execute it?
FrankNicodemus Posted February 20, 2025 Posted February 20, 2025 I also think just like @theguru said to me within the last week, this group thrives on BIG time Top 15 matchups, no matter what the lineup is that we throw out there.... We come out with a different swagger it seems like. I think the minutes again that Chandler got last night against Vandy could help us big time if we can have him contribute like that, unlike the Vandy game though he HAS TO clean up those Freshman mistake turnovers.... I am drinking the kool aid baby! Cats with the upset! Let's keep Bama's losing streak rolling. 1
nikeman49 Posted February 20, 2025 Posted February 20, 2025 Can’t really see this one being close, Bama by 15+
DragonFire Posted February 20, 2025 Posted February 20, 2025 It feels like the games where I think UK has no hope are the games they do well in. Let's hope that trend continues, because I don't see them winning this one....
futurecoach Posted February 20, 2025 Posted February 20, 2025 I think the Cats will be ready to play as they have all year against top teams. However, we will need to hope Bama has an off night shooting to have a shot.
16thBBall Fan Posted February 22, 2025 Author Posted February 22, 2025 On ESPN's College Gameday show this morning they said that both Butler, and Robinson will be out this evening. Not good news.

Not good news. That's been the expectation all along. Butler may be back Wednesday or next Saturday. Still no real time table on Robinson but he is getting better. 1
16thBBall Fan Posted February 22, 2025 Author Posted February 22, 2025 If the Cats continue playing man to man they are going to have to shoot 60% from 3 to have a shot.
16thBBall Fan Posted February 22, 2025 Author Posted February 22, 2025 Cats led 16-9 at the under 16 media timeout. The Cats are 4-6 from 3 early on today. 1
DragonFire Posted February 22, 2025 Posted February 22, 2025 Good start. Tough to maintain but it’s a good start.
16thBBall Fan Posted February 22, 2025 Author Posted February 22, 2025 Cats led by 10 at 28-18 at the halfway point of the first half. They are 6-10 from 3.
