The entire situation is strange. Starting off with speculation by some that the Bengals drafted Shemar in a way to leverage Hendrickson contract. Then there was talking about how unproven Shemar is based on his college stats, so did the Bengals take a 1st round risk on a guy that they're not sure is worthy of 1st round money? It's just a strange situation. I get why Shemar wants a solid 1st round contract. If he doesn't pan out it could be his only contract.

And to add to my previous post. Anyone that thinks this can't happen in the United States is extremely naive. Unfortunately if it does happen in the US, the targets are much more likely to be civilian rather than military.

Wife and I stumbled upon this on ESPN. Turned it on in the bottom of the 1st with UK down 2-0. It's now the top of the 6th with UK up 14-3, it's been a fun game to watch. UK is warming up pitchers so we will see how that goes.

Yeah. Seems that A LOT of guys are getting high end/or luxury vehicles, likely as a lease from local dealerships. And I think just about all the player(s) has to do is say, "Yeah I love this car/truck/suv, just go see the guys over at Jim Bob's dealership and they can get you in one as well".

At this point I believe the roster is set. Not knowing the make up of every other roster out there, I feel like UK has a team capable of making it to the elite 8 and if they do that anything is possible. With that said, a lot depends on how this team meshes, injuries, including Quaintance recovery from ACL surgery, and how they evolve defensively.

UK added Brayden Hawthorne this evening. A 6'8 wing out of West Virginia who really climbed the ranging this year. Currently considered a top 40 recruit.
