Black Lab named Missy...no idea how that ended up happening I was 5. Weimaraner named Tasha...full name Princess Natasha of the Bluegrass. Weimaraner named Cody...full name Prince Dakota of the Bluegrass. Yellow Lab named Gunner...no reason, like the name. He was an idiot.... Weimaraner named Jada...her name when we rescued her. Weimaraner named Reagan...yes, got him just after Pres. Reagan passed away.

Lets just hope we have someone that IS listening or can update from the game!! It pains me to miss this one, but some things are a priority! There will never be another first birthday.

I will fully admit I was one of those people, after the Ryle game, that was very skeptical of the line play. However, they way they showed up to play the last several weeks...my mind is at ease. Talk about stepping up your game, those young men deserve major credit for how they have come together as a unit. I just dont see it being an issue for the Birds the rest of this year, no matter who they face.

Yes, I was talking Gunpowder in Ft Thomas.... Well they ended up getting power back last night around 930PM. Needless to say...they were ready! Duke had 9 trucks within 200 yards of their house when they got home from work yesterday!

Still no power on Gunpowder, at least not at my folks place anyway. Any time now would be absolutely fine with everyone!!!

The North end of Ft Thomas is still going to be a while. My parents live on Gunpowder, off of Covert Run, and Duke is telling them it will most likely be Saturday before they will see power again. So...needless to say they are showering at my place for the time being!!

What are you to do when the starters from one team cannot stop the underclassmen from the other? Please...do tell!! It has been debated and re-debated time and time again, I would certainly love to hear what you would do as a coach. Do you just take a knee on 1st, 2nd and 3rd down then punt on every possession?

We watched the I-Witness show as well. Those pieces of footage were different than a lot of stuff that you see on the mainstream stations. You are correct...VERY moving!

We have been to NYC several times since this event. It is amazing to me how the feelings just over come you when you get close to the site. Here are a couple of shots from our trips. First is the cross before it was moved from the actual site. Second is a shot of Firehouse 10 directly across the street from GZ. Third is the memorial on the wall inside Firehouse 10 of the men they lost on that terrible day! Like I said, we have been back several times since 9/11/01. Each time, we visit FH10 to talk with the men and women there. Each time, we buy another t-shirt which benefits the memorial fund set up for their fallen brothers and sisters.

Good ole Joe. Yes he was the owner. He has since sold to another party but they use the same suppliers to keep up the customer base. Joe's son is the owner of the location on Dixie Hwy.

Well its certainly not in NKY, but Toots up in the Mason-Montgomery area has the best fried pickles Ive had in this area. I was not much for the Courthouse version, of course I didnt care for the place in general.

It will be tough! I have been through it several times now...it never gets any easier. The only thing you can tell yourself is that prolonging the dogs pain is purely selfish. They will be much better off. Even still...its amazingly tough, our dogs are part of the family!!

Talk about a bummer! Hey Im not in the insurance business so I am certainly not trying to sell you anything but look into identity theft insurance. Fairly cheap and if it were to happen to you again somehow, they take care of all of that nonsense for you!
