BGP has been strangely quiet. There hasn't been any talk about tonight's game. I hope this doesn't mean any of our Bird faithful are taking a win for granted! I really doubt that this is the case; but it would be a good way to end up sitting home next week.

 

I look for a good game tonight. South Oldham will be looking to avenge the home loss two weeks ago, and hopeing to catch the Birds sleeping. The Birds will be working out their frustrations over last week's last second disapointment and gearing up for a re-match.

 

Who all is going to be there tonight?

I'll be there!! The "young un's " ought to get in this one. It'll be interesting to see how the Defense for HHS plays tonite. I hope they come out of the gate hard and don't let up!! Go BLUE !!!!

I'm pretty sure that Henry and I are going, as I don't think we have anything else to do tonight:laugh:. DMZ, I hope you are right and the back ups get some playing time, but I think S. Oldham is a pretty good team that matches up with us well. For some reason, we've always struggled with them. I've looked at the tape of the game a couple of weeks ago and the game could have been even closer. Now part of that was caused by CovCath being the next week. But with this being the playoffs and the boys realizing there is no match up with CovCath next week if we don't beat the Dragons, I expect them to be very, very focused this time. We'll see in a few short hours. Come on Birds, don't make me look bad (I do that well enough on my own thank you).

I always worry about SO. They always play Highlands tough. Last year Highlands won on a late in the game field goal. Never any relaxed football games in this household. SO #40 played a great game against Highlands 3 weeks ago. Lets hope he doesn't have such a good game tonight. GO BIRDS

 

Actually I stand corrected. We blocked an extra point to win by one. Oops. I'm having some sort of moment.

I will be there. This is the playoffs boys, I dont think....at least I cant imagine that we will be overlooking anyone at this point no matter who we would play next week.
