How can you determine a 2-7 team being a top 5 team in Ky?

How good is Elder this year? What is their record?

Central has not lost to anyone other than 6A schools St X and Manual this year and only lost to 6A schools last year. If you think Male beating Eastern and Butler are quality wins, then you are sadly mistaken IMO. I can't get past the fact that Boone has a 5-3 record, beat Male by 2 TD's yet the 2-6 Male team is put on a pedestal being ranked 8th and Boone is viewed as doo doo. Heck, I'd take Meade Co., Bryan Station, or Madison Central over Male in the top 10.

The 4 teams that have beaten X are a combined 31-1. X may be down a little, but the 4 teams that have beaten them are pretty strong and would beat most everyone not named Trinity.

And the loss to Western shouldn't hurt Male? There is nothing to convince me Male should be ranked or ahead of Boone.

How a 5-3 Boone Co team that beat Male by 2Td's isn't in Male's #8 spot is mindboggling.

St X is where they should have been since week 1. Male still in the top 10 is the next abberation. No way a 2-6 team is a top 10 team, I don't care how "down" 6A seems to be this year.

Quality opponent? None, because they've played none. An average opponent would be one that has at least a .500 record. They've played none of those either.

I'll wait until X defeats Manual to make the case for them #2. Scott Co. is a solid #4 IMO.

Butler was ranked #4 on BG Preps ahead of St X. That is a lot of respect.

Why would Scott Co. schedule one of the weakest 3A schools in the state in Webster Co.? What were they going to get out of it other than a win?

My guess is Scott Co. would be 0-3 against Riverdale, BG, & Moeller. If Scott Co were playing X tomorrow night would Scott Co be the favorite? Scott Co's schedule is painfully weak.

The teams X has lost to are a combined 17-0. Butler lost to a 2-4 Male team. I would have X at worst 3rd behind T and Manual, with it being a coin flip with Manual.

Heck, a strong argument could be made that #'s 1,2,3, & 4 are a toss up.

Warren Central is in the top 3-4 in every poll out there. They are hardly overlooked.
