Glasgow beating Monroe was a shocker. Glasgow has been terrible this year.

Someone should lose their job over that. If transfers came and went from their school once every 5-10 years, I could see it. But Fulton County, Fulton City, South Fulton, and Union City swap players all the time. Sometimes 2-3 a year. The transfer process is something Fulton City should know like the back of their hand by now.

So when did Greg McQuerey join the football staff at Fulton County?

I've seen both play and think Proffitt should have been on the list. I also think whoever made the comment about the AAU input was dead on.

According to Massey, the average ranking of all the teams in 2A District 3 (Larue, Western) is 18.3. The actual ranking of Newport, the second ranked team behind Mercer in District 5, is 17th. Next toughest district top to bottom is district 1 (20.8) followed by District 4 (21.5). Russell's district (36.2 avg. ranking of the teams) ranks last. There are only 53 teams in Class 2A.

I think Raceland has been the #1 seed that has lost to a #4 seed the most times since they expanded the playoffs a decade ago. Part of that has always been the result of winning a weak district and playing the NKY district, whose competitiveness always prepared them better for the playoffs than Raceland's.

I like what 'm reading about Raceland and knew it would be tough for them to replace Tolliver. They are playing well against the weak part of their schedule. We'll get a good read on them after this week.

The same can be said for LCA. You've beaten four teams with a combined 12 wins by an average of 45 points, which is what you should have done. Beat Paris by 42 points this week and we'll talk about Raceland's chances of beating LCA in the second round of the playoffs. :thumb:

You answered your own question. While the Rams have compensated for the loss of Tolliver OK, there are still some offensive questions that were exposed against LCA.

Have seen LCA this year. Saw Raceland play late last year and remember which players they had coming back this year.

I viewed his answer as hypocritical and provided proof. Since I didn't hear him speak it, I don't know if the part about not showing up was truthful, sarcastic, or joking. It appeared to me that he was taking quick offense at someone picking Raceland to lose to LCA.

I'm thinking Jaggers is keeping the passing game under wraps so not to expose it on game film for any future opponents, then roll it out when it's neccessary. Could be a risky move, but it could turn out to be a smart one as well. We'll find out the first time they trail by more than a touchdown.

Can we get a moderator to add "(If you pick Raceland to lose, don't respond.)" to the thread title? A question was asked and an honest answer given. And then someone from Raceland gets in a huff over it because someone had the audacity to pick against the Rams. Lexington Christian has already came into Raceland and whipped them once this year. The next time, the game is at Lexington Christian. Has Raceland ever won at LCA? I don't think they have. I think the loss to LCA and a close win over a bad Greenup team exposed some weaknesses on the Rams. Meanwhile, LCA is playing very well down the stretch.
