Not necessarily that, but that it looks like Fort Campbell has put it together with their starting QB back in the lineup. At the moment, they would be my pick to win the 2A region ... of course, that can change next week.

Caldwell struggles at times that I realize, a late rally against Webster and a tight win against a mediocure Heath and a narrow win over FC without the QB for FC. FC Big loss to a mediocure MNH early in year then narrow wins over Trigg and LO before loosing to Caldwell. I see your thought but not sure FC has done enough to sway me.

 

Mayfield is obviously my area of most expertise, both games left me scratching my head. In both games the Cards were more of a enemy to themselves than was their opponets. Tons of penalities and a problem with QB-center exchanges that will surely get fixed. Overall I think they still make the strongest case for best among the little fellows. Their problems seem to be more related to themselves than anything either opponet did. Overall the region appears weaker than recent years across the board for the small schools
