He was also the d-coordinator at NewCath in the mid-90s and Campbell County after that. If it is Coach, then it has been WAAAAYYYY TOOO long coming and well deserved. He was like a big brother to me when he was coaching at NewCath and I owe a ton of my work ethic professionally to him.

Congrats to Kyle and the whole Kelly clan. Great people and a great family. If you ever want to learn how to encourage kids in sports and push them the right way, watch Mr. and Mrs. Kelly.

That family seems super tight so going to school across the country may be too much, but, Man, Stanford would be my dream school looking big picture as a tight end.

After killing time looking at past USA Today All America teams, I was wondering which team actually had players that made an impact at the next level. IMO, the 1994 team is the team with the best NFL talent. Players from that team Randy Moss Charles Woodson Shaun Alexander Ahman Green Takeo Spikes Brandon Short Corey Simon R.W. McQuarters

Watching him run on film is like watching film of Babe Ruth hitting a home run and trotting the bases. It is just an unnatural fast, like he has speed cheat code or something.

I would say that that is a fair statement. He definitely is the most vocal opponent of the former coaching staff.

‘97 No. I was/am friends with a lot of them. They lost to a great 1A Beechwood, were spanked by Div I runner-up Moeller, and we’re close to getting blown out twice by Highlands before two huge second half rallies kept the first game close and put them in OT in the mud bowl. Position by position, I don’t see it. Kurt, Applegate, Beecham, Pfeifer, and Timmy start for sure. Madden and McGuinness is interesting. Madden was built more like McGuinness but ran more like Dyer did. That team lacked consistency in the passing game offensively, and ultimately that slight lack of balance would have hurt them. I take this year’s team but only bc Eddie is on the other sideline calling the O. I never saw the ‘06 team, so I couldn’t form an opinion on that.
