  1. I will throw in that LMB has pretty good sources here.
  2. I think you are selling the kid a little short and not making yourself sound good with the way you are phrasing. To say the kid is not very good is probably incorrect. You should probably say he is not at the high D1 level.
  3. Pretty sure he cried after the kid committed.
  4. Clay Co. also got Angelo Smith from Red Bird in 00-01 season to help them make it to state that year.
  5. Still dancing around the fact that you were happy about these guys screwing up?
  6. Note I said a few years ago. Those 3 would have been this past year.
  7. You never know what could happen in the next 6 months...
  8. I did attend a Division 1 school. Not too sure what you are getting at.
  9. The one in Middlesboro usually had several cars sitting there, but if you go buy the ones in Lexington it seems like you might see one or two cars there at any given time.
  10. After getting carried away and watching clips on youtube for about 2 hours last night, I have to say The Rock is the easy winner.
  11. I havent seen the kid, but a lot of people seem to be saying move him down and put St. John up there, among other things. I didn't see enough 13th region ball last year to make a list I would be comfortable with, but I have an idea of your MO here.
  12. I think that could be the big question is how many scholarships will be available. Carter will be the only senior. If Jasper transfers I would have to imagine UK will not fill that scholarship this year. That will leave two to give for next year and one is going to Vilarino at this point. Who really knows about anybody else that could transfer after next year. It's tough to say. Possibly Patterson would go pro, but that is not a given.
  13. Nathan Popp went from Shelby Co. to Lex. Cath. Eric Ely went from Middlesboro to Bell Co. Eric Fields went from North Laurel to South Laurel. Daniel Dillon came to North Laurel from Australia. There will be the kid that went from Manual to Jtown that had to sit out last year that had committed to UMass. His name escapes me at the moment. I'm thinking one of the "Big 3" at Lex. Cath. a few years ago was a transfer.
  14. Do many people frequent Sonic? I know that when we have our favorite restaurant/fast food threads it rarely gets mentioned. You never see a lot of cars sitting in the stalls there or anything. I go there from time to time for chili cheese fries and a "happy hour" drink. All their drinks are half price every day from 2-4pm. Just something I thought I'd throw out there.
  15. I didn't realize that was ever in doubt.
  16. You can defend yourself with long winded answers all you want, it doesn't explain that you are happy about somebody getting in trouble and kicked off the team and out of school, no matter where they go to school.
  17. You can't help yourself because you dont want to catch flak for naming an undeserving Harlan Co. kid in the top 5 without having other kids listed...
  18. They very well could have. Now they have pretty much zero chance of getting paid to play. Crews had more of a chance than Smith, even though it wasnt that great. They lose out on a first class education, no matter what you think about UT. They will likely end up at the NAIA, D2, etc. levels never to be heard from again. They could have done stuff in Knoxville after graduation with relative ease, but that is over now. Maybe they didn't screw up their lives, but they screwed up big time. They now have to take a longer more difficult path to prosperity. You still celebrated they screwed up. I dont know what to think about that...
  19. Or Oak Hill West. I honestly feel like some of the UK coaches are directing kids to SC.
  20. If you think these guys are grown men, you are fooling yourself. Regardless, its all semantics. I still have to wonder about someone celebrating two people screwing up their lives because they play for the team down the road.
  21. So still missing the playoffs. Does it really seem Casey was that much of a difference maker? I dont think a leader would be a huge difference on these Reds teams, Griffey or not.
