So you are saying they lied about subbing in the JV guys?

Would it have mattered? I dont think that anybody they put in would have given up any runs from the way it sounded. Was this their ace? I very seriously doubt that the coach threw his ace knowing Eminence was this bad. I dont think any blame falls on AC here.

It will be some time before high schools move their 3 point line, and I'd say it may never happen.

I thought it would have been a nice gesture to have the new Harlan Co. school in the tournament in their first year.

Got wind that there were some family matters at hand for the Jackson's that are resulting in the likely move to Scott Co. I won't go into it, but sounds like the real deal to me. SC never "gets away" with anything. They are right there about 15 minutes away from the KHSAA, so its not a big deal for them to look into anything. Haddix was ruled ineligible and I have heard good arguments both ways for that case. Guyn wasn't ruled eligible until the day practice started for SC from what I have heard. It's not like they arent looking into things and investigating things as this stuff if obviously taking time if they couldnt rule on Guyn until October.

There is only rules against posting false info. Posting speculation should be okay as long as you state it as so.

Nolan was the head boys coach at Cawood for at least the last 10 years or so. He had some very solid teams there and is a solid coach. He was easily the best head coach in Harlan Co. after Jones left.

It really just depends on the kid. I went to a really small Christian school in elementary school where I had 6 kids in my 6th grade class. I went to the county middle school which is considerable bigger with about 25 people in my class and people everywhere. Besides being a little shy, there was really no culture shock for me. Jackson is from the area, so its a homecoming of sorts for him. I would expect a kid like Euton, being the good kid he is along with him already being a UK commit will help kids to like him and make the transition pretty easy.

Yeah, counties should just start putting up walls around themselves so nobody can get in or out. What a horrible thing to do by accepting transfers of people that want to come to school there. Who would do such a thing? Again with the every year. Name the D1 level transfers each year for the last 10 years. I'm waiting.

The Toyota plant is sometimes referred to as TMMK (Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky). Its obvious that you are not in the loop of what is going on though.

Are you sure the AC coach was aware of the age of the players at Eminence? I'm guessing no, as in baseball its not always something that is kept track of by opposing coaches, especially on teams like Eminence. Like The Scribe said, I'm not passing judgement until I hear everything about it, but I'm guessing the odds are the JV was playing after the first inning and Eminence booted, kicked, and threw the ball over the field.

Such as? I know of an incoming freshman that is likely going elsewhere, but there really arent a lot of major impact guys left on the roster that I could see transferring. Not to mention, as I said, Jackson is not there right now.

Also, neither Jackson nor Euton have enrolled in Scott Co., nor are in class there as of yesterday. A family can't really just pick up and go, that is just silly. They must find a home and move their things there, and that cant be done overnight. Case closed....for now...

First, some of the relationship with the Scott Co program for these families would be that Jackson and Euton have played on the same AAU team in the summer as Guyn, and apparently have become pretty tight in that matter. Maybe the Guyn's have encouraged them to come there, but I can assure there is no improprieties on the part of the coaching staff and the program. There doesnt have to be a reason for a move as long as there is a change in residence. If there were some recruiting going on then something could be made of it, but a move by a family simply to better themselves and their children's futures is completely up to them and requires no explanation.
