  1. That too. I think its definitely worth a shot though. I dont think it will be a waste of time though. I'm sure he has other guys he is interested in looking at in Cali while he is out there.
  2. Could end up being BCG's greatest recruiting job yet...
  3. Typical response. Bell came from the Jimbo Terry years into the Whitaker years and made it to the region semi's the next year, region semi's the next one, and the region finals the following two years. Pretty sure they had some bad habits to break and they seemed to do okay, and that was when the region was actually pretty strong. I like Jones as a person, but he just doesnt have it to get it done. They need something else.
  4. Says who? You? What does that mean to me? I think I know a little about it. And I know these Mboro teams havent reached their potential in the last 10-12 years. There is probably a general factor in all of that.
  5. :thumb: Maybe Ramel. But that was it.
  6. I also forgot to mention about Deuce saying that the team would be affected by the loss of Williams.
  7. Bull. That's why Kyle Farnsworth is so effective.
  8. Deuce, you are out of practice. You missed semantics, not only saying so, but then quoting it at the same time. Then you missed the lineup. Now you are saying everybody thought Ramel and Joe would be good leaders last year. It's best to come back slowly...
  9. Would you have called Ramel and Joe leaders coming into this season? Me either. You dont think any of these guys can develop into a good leader. Meeks, maybe Jasper if he returns, Patterson will be a big leader next year and if he stays longer then for a few more years. Harrellson is of that age and Stevenson really stepped up last year and became more vocal. You act like Joe and Ramel are irreplaceable. If I had said something like that this time last year you would have laughed me off the site. Therfore, its tough to know who will be a leader two years from now.
  10. By that I meant that he was more known for his change in his elite years than his heat. He could reach high speeds, but he didnt have to in order to get people out.
  11. He never was a power pitcher anyway. Why the steroids accusations?
  12. Doubt its Floyd's fault. They seemed to try to cover this stuff pretty good by getting the money to OJ indirectly. I'd find it tough to blame Floyd.
  13. Don't mislead here. A lot of that money went to Guillory. OJ likely only received about 30k. It's all wrong, but don't make it look like OJ got all of that.
  14. Suspension got reduced to 5. While better than 6 I would have thought 4. Apparently it was too many...
  15. :thumb: It is also why these kids cant reach their potential. If there was someone there to develop these players, they very well could top 5 caliber players. You can't give a kid a top 5 label just based on potential either.
  16. Bad decision and an interesting event to say the least, but I think 6 is too many. He will get this knocked down IMO.
