  1. If he wouldnt play hard at the biggest stage in the state at the Sweet16 against the state's number 1 team, how can any of us believe that he played hard in any other game? That is the biggest knock and you hear it from everyone that has seen him play any high school games. It's a lack of respect for the game and I honestly cant see him appreciating the award.
  2. Gardner-Webb....
  3. I understand that you need to help off of someone onto Miller, but Setty just isnt that guy. You can help off several other guys on that Mason Co. team. When SC played them this year Portwood was told not to help off of Setty and it worked out pretty well for them.
  4. Ouch! Be careful to call someone out that they might find the skeletons in your closet! Same story, different place. I think we have settled that problem.
  5. I agree. Not all people are on that level though. Most people look to tout their team or tear down another. I have been guilty of that from time to time, as have most on here, but thats not to say that is my motive on the board.
  6. True enough. I am used to people having motives behind what they say. If you don't, kudos to you. Guess thats my problem.
  7. Don't remember addressing you, but thats fine.
  8. Bottom line, I have seen so many very talented defensive players over the years. The ones who didnt have the offensive skill set to go along with that never made it to D1 or if they did they never played more than mop up duty or they left after a year or two.
  9. No doubt. He comes in and gives UL very good minutes offensively and defensively. Preston has the potential to be a top notch player at a top notch school in a few years. I just dont see that out of Henderson
  10. Each time I went to Sawyer's and DeSha's the line and wait was ridiculous. I only go to those two places before or after a game and it was just ridiculous.
  11. This wasnt meant for you, it was meant for the Holmes homers.
  12. Pretty accurate description. I wouldnt look for him to end up at UK though. I would take him as a walk on as I think he would be great for practice on D, but that is as far as it goes.
  13. Probably so. He is several years away from contributing more than spot duty at that level.
  14. I agree that those sophomores should be a great class in the next two years. Just seems like some want to make it out that Arrez is the heart and soul. How can a team not be hurting when they lose an All-World D1 player?
  15. I didn't see the game, but I've heard a lot about it. It's ironic though...
  16. How surprising that this one comes up...
  17. This one is perfect. I will throw in stock up for the sophomore class at Holmes.
  18. All I needed to know...
  19. You also said that Setty was the best high school player on Mason's team. My point is Miller created those shots for Setty by drawing Setty's defender to him.
  20. Very possible. I was impressed with the kid. I was just wondering if he looked the same during the season but still came off the bench.
  21. Really, you havent been here too long. I would think most people would learn how to spell their coach's name though.
  22. So you are saying you think that, you just arent going to tell him that. :thumb:
  23. Yes sir, well said. Nice save on the misspelling. :thumb:
