  1. It is my understanding he let a couple of kids who were trying to get back with the team know their situation this past weekend. Apparently Krebs has made it, and former walk on who was not with the team last year, Eric Allen, has also apparently returned to the team as a walk on.
  2. Yanks have been playing well and the Tigers have not. The pitching over achieved for the Tigers this year and I dont see them getting back there. Tha Yanks are healthy and they will go all the way.
  3. With those two games, Patterson would be crazy to commit somewhere else before the games.
  4. I looked at this the other day and didnt get to post it. Several Kentucky boys were doing very well in the Golfweek national rankings. Trey Bowling and Justin Moore from EKU and Austin Hansford from MSU were ranked in the top 50. My boy Matt Gann from MSU was ranked 8th in the nation, right behind Camilo Villegas brother. Now Matt is ranked 10th, ahead of Villegas. Doster is the first kid from UK ranked 60th and Volp is 76th. Here's the link. http://www.golfweekrankings.com/college/mens1/individualrankings.asp?page=1
  5. I suppose Bell could also try to keep Clay Co. on the schedule. They are normally a district opponent but with them moving up a class it makes them a new out of district opponent.
  6. OBI is always adding and losing players. You can never count them in or out.
  7. I am hearing a lot of the problem has to do with the T.R. situation. Also, if Corbin drops Bell, Bell is not going to really have any out of district rivals left are they?
  8. I ended up getting it figured out. Thanks. :thumb:
  9. It's not bad, but why drop a rivalry game like Bell that has gone on for so long for a Danville, Belfry, Somerset, or LCA. I can see North and South, but what is the reasoning in adding those other teams instead of Bell.
  10. Ha. My next question. I just changed my email addy today. I want to change in on yahoo as well, but cant figure it out. You know, so I get the trade email and all that other stuff.
  11. I just like to get my own players. I dont trust yahoo.
  12. I think I will be in. I'm going to sign up and if I have to work that morning, I will pull out. I should know in a week or so.
  13. My roommate is a huge Cardinals fan and he knows that Nomar is most deserving of the award. Those are good numbers for Rolen, just not good enough to beat out Nomar.
  14. A lot of guys from Bell Co. go there once a year or so. At least they have for the last several years. I heard they might plan on changing the trip to another place, but dont know if they ever did.
  15. I'm going with Nomar and Thomas. Nomar needs no explanation, but I think everyone thought Thomas was as good as done and he has had a great year. Beltran was close on Nomar, but he had a decent year last year.
  16. If true, does anyone see a transfer to Manhattan High School in Walker's future. It only makes sense b/c perhaps he could attend practice in order to get ahead of the game. If he is trying for this it only makes sense.
  17. It really was in great shape. It is one of those courses that it depends on you whether you would like it or not. You cant hit driver a whole lot, at least I couldnt, as it is kind of target golf. There are a lot of dropoffs and high grass just off the fairways. Several ravine's and such on holes. You definitely need to pay attention to the guide they have for you in the golf cart the first time you play it. I neglected it a few holes and paid for it. There are lots of scoring opportunities, and no hole is the same. Lots of elevation changes, and one hole drops like 200+ feet. It's short, but very tight at the green with a green that at least with the pin positions we had is not easy to get it close. I shot a couple of good scores out there and thought it was in very good shape, but I dont think it is a place I would want to go back and spend another weekend. It is out away from everything, and is not what I generally like in a course. I'm not a big fan of hitting 6iron off the tee of a par 5 and 8 iron off a par 4 which I did a few times. I suppose my gripe is you dont see that on tour, so why would you make a nice course like that. Several guys really liked it, but several didnt. It just depends on what you like.
  18. I was considering his shot to be the least ready from what I have seen. He seems to lean back and jumps so high on his shot it is asking for inconsistency. He has the chance to become a very good shooter, but I dont know if he is there yet.
  19. UK has already offered Miller. I believe that is getting to work.
  20. That is as big or bigger than Wade, and Bron and Melo play the 3. He is about the size of most NBA 2G's, but he will try to play PG.
