  1. No. You put the on there, which would lead me to believe you disagreed.
  2. The kid was having trouble dealing with the recruiting process? Interesting...
  3. I believe that is correct on those 4 names. I thought you said you were disappointed in the way UK recruited Mackey b/c Tubby had not been to Scott Co. Then you said Tubby had been to Maysville and Hoptown several times to see the others. The paper today says that Tubby hadn't been to Hoptown this semester either. Which is it?
  4. All kids want to win. If they don't, I have to question that kid.
  5. :thumb: When you are one of the top guys in your class, why go somewhere you have no chance to win a title. I dont get it.
  6. Good article. Brooks has always seemed to be a good man and I'm glad the media decided to put an article out with the same thought.
  7. I also understand Stansbury has a good relationship with Hopson's AAU coach.
  8. Don't think there are too many kids on here posting on this thread, so that may be why Mack isnt on there. It's supposed to be guys you have guarded.
  9. Don't remember saying anything along the lines of clamoring for playing time for EA. I would like to see him get to dress some as Coury makes what, 12 players? He seems to be able to play with some of these guys, as he showed the other day and I've seen him show he can play with some of these guys in pickup games and very much hold his own. I know its pickup, but you can get a gauge on someone from that. I wouldnt expect EA to get PT on this time, just mop up duty. Something wrong with that? What is he hurting? Didnt you say the same about Coury when we got him, which I agreed with? He is a walk on, what is he going to hurt being on the bench?
  10. Every publication I have seen this year has listed him as Twany, while last year it was Antiquawn. Things like that just dont change from year to year without reason.
  11. I don't remember him saying he was a Ravi Moss. He compared parts of each players game. No harm in that. EA can do more than Ravi can offensively. The effort and desire arent there for EA in terms of D like Ravi had. Those are facts and are hardly saying that Eric is another Ravi. That being said, it is a shame that EA is really just a practice player and as far as I know, unable to dress for games as he isnt classified as a member of the team. A double digit scorer cant make it while Coury can? In regards to the point spot, I think you will see a lineup from time to time involving Jasper, Ramel, and Crawford in at one time on the perimeter spots. Jasper will guard that three spot, but may get the ball in his hands a lot in order to get those guys the ball. It will be good to get Ramel off the ball a little. I look at our roster and like the lineup possibilities we can come with. Big, small, fast, shooters, ballhandlers, etc.
  12. Did he go by Antiquawn at one time? Why would you change your name your senior year? Good luck to Ty. Good kid who knows how to play the game. Would be nice if UK rekindled with ND in the next couple of years.
  13. Gordon Miles from Franklin Co. Dude was quick and could get up too. Throwing it down at like 5'7. Angelo Smith from Clay Co. He had no left hand, yet if you turned to force him left he could still beat most people back to the right. Boo and Von Fields. I don't know if they were really that quick, or if they could just fit through any hole in the defense no matter how small. They could slip to the basket on about anyone.
  14. Tubby is a winner in my book, and any man could lose it a little down there at the U.
  15. Good cover up in prefixing that earlier. Can't slip it by me though....
  16. OK, I remember something about an Alaskan guy, but thats all i remembered. Thanks.
  17. What were the odds you'd think what the Giants are doing is okay? And what the heck is a palm palm?
