I don't think that East Carter has packed it in yet. :sssh: A first round district game at home could be a little tougher than most expect.:popcorn:

The Eagles were up 16-5 after the first quarter but Fleming never gave up. Fleming had a 1 point lead late in the 4th but the Eagles came through at the end. A very good effort by both teams.:clap:

This is a big win without Gregg.:clap: It sounds like the Muskies played an excellent 4th to get back in it. I hate to see someone get a loss though due to an offical error.

I don't think that would be an upset. Based on recent games the Muskies should be favored. I'll take Rose Hill by 1 in the upset.:popcorn:

You are correct on this point but that should have no bearing on his actions after the game in a public setting. Like I stated earlier, his words were water off the Duck's back to me but many kids witnessed his behavior. If he has a problem with me, all he has to do is call and set up a luncheon after the season to voice his concerns in private. I'll buy or pack a big picnic lunch. Now, back to the thread.:popcorn: I think the Muskies have a fine group of kids. However, I'll be pulling for the Devils @ the Texas Death Match in the first round of districts. The Eagles will try to bounce back tonight against Boyd County and Friday @ East Carter.

I can agree with you on the first point that they are better.(Far better? We'll never know.) I agree with you on the second point. I'll have to disagree on the third, and again, we'll never know.

Look @ Russell two years ago. They were almost a lock to win the region when Vanhoose blew out his knee in the 63rd District Tournament. They had already beaten Elliott Co twice in the regular season. Most of us know, nothing is a given.

Congrats to the Muskie players! This is the way I thought they would be playing much sooner. Good luck the rest of the season. Craft had 18 and played outstanding on both ends. Adkins played well hitting some big free throws down the stretch. He finished with 16. Baker 10 Williams 8 I believe. Eagles Jackson 19 Evans 12 & 10 Collins 8 Gehringer 8 Stai 8 I take nothing away from the players' win. However, for Coach Fraley to seek me out after the game to say, "Go post that on Bluegrass Preps, Duck", shows very poor sportsmanship and sets a poor example for his team. I suppose it should be expected.:idunno:
