If you check, I never said they would win those three games, or even be the favorite, just that they should, based on the talent they have. They're aren't many teams, if any in this region that would not love to have, Williams, Lithecum, Hampton and Stephenson posting up inside.

:idunno: Greenup County ends the regular season on a three game losing streak. On the very bright side, they have such superior talent that they should sweep through the 63rd District Tourney and get a first round win against a district loser in the first round of the regional. :thumb: :walk:The future is still bright for Greenup as they should be one of the favorites again next year.:thumb:

Just got home. This was a tough one to lose. The Eagles were in control with the ball and a 1 point lead with about 1:24 left on the clock and committed several unforced turnovers and a couple of fouls. A solid effort :thumb:but falling just short. Time to re-group for the kitty cats on the 30th.

Hunt appears to be making a difference for the Devils. :thumb: Does anyone know if Lewis Co will have Riley and Smith back in time for "The Texas Death Match" against Greenup Co in the districts? I believe I have their names correct...:idunno: If so, :popcorn::clap:

Collins had 21, Jackson 14 and Adams 10 for the Eagles. Williams 20 and Stephenson 9 for the muskies. Hampton DNP due to team rules violation. It's off to Richmond for the Eagles to play in the Touchstone Energy All “A” Classic, the 16-team state tournament that begins Thursday at Eastern Kentucky University, where the Eagles will face Owensboro Catholic in the opening round. :thumb:

Both teams played hard:clap: and Fairview didn't pull away until the 4th quarter. The Eagles led between 3-9 points most of the game but when they went to a 1-3-1 zone, the Muskies had no answer. Fairview's Collins was able to score at will for the most part and Williams from Greenup played a very good game as well. Greenup received a technical foul in the 4th quarter for calling a timeout with none available.

Spindoc, do you know if Hunt is getting more time on the floor or did he score his 9 points in a short time frame? I believe he will be a very good player in the next couple of years.:popcorn:

Rams are in a bad season, talent wise and Greenup Co is probably playing the weakest schedule that they've had in a long while. If the Muskies can upset or play Fairview close this week, I'll admit they may have turned the corner on this season. However, I'll predict that the Eagles win by 7+:thumb: and yes Fraley, I'll still put a post of congrats on here if you are able to pull a rabbit out of the hat and win a game you're not favored to win.:bunny:

Wow, from everyone else's predictions, I must be way off. However, after seeing both teams play several times, I'll stick with my prediction of Eagle dominance. Elliott can't apply the pressure that Ashland can and they have numerous matchup problems against the Eagles. Eagles soar from the first quarter on!
