Yes and no I don't think they've won as many State Titles as Highlands but they have won 6 in a row and is the favorite to win it again this season.

I hope.

I've not seen Highlands play this season and I really don't know anything about them. I have seen some of the great Highland teams in the past and none of them could match up with Alcoas total team speed and they are as fundamentally sound as those Highlands teams. I'm not saying Highlands would lose but WOW that would be a great match up , I would make the trip to either Highlands or Alcoa to watch it.

Alcoa is just that good. Only a few elite teams in KY could even play with this team they are loaded with talent.

Used to happen a lot here in M'boro cause In TN you didn't have to pay taxes or have car insurance to tag your car. Used to all you needed was a P.O. Box now I think you actually have to know someone with a TN address to have your title mailed to there home address. Back in the old days they was more ppl in Middlesboro with TN tags then they was KY tags.

Middlesboro will represent the 13th Region.

He was just to stubborn to change the way he coached and that was his undoing , his defensive scheme IMHO costed us a couple of State Championships. I used to love it (the defense) when we had the athletes to run it but we ain't had that kind of talent since 1998.
