Chase Roark Is the real deal he has a huge upside with his strong, accurate arm. He should be fun to watch the next 3 seasons.

I would have liked our chances In 06 , only 2 common opponents that season (Leslie County and Corbin) M'boro beat Leslie County 21-6 and Bell beat em 7-0 Middlesboro beat Corbin 62-42 and Bell beat em 17-14. Our 06 team was loaded while Bell IMO was a little down.

IDK the reason they don't play for sure but I asked Kenny Roark like 3 or 4 years ago why we don't play Bell County any more and he told me straight up that "we don't need to play them" and that "someday we'll play them again". M'boro not competitive or "scared" to play em isn't true , even with being one of the smallest 2A schools in the state we most of the time play up in our out of district games , like last season we played 3 5A schools , 1 6A school and a 3A school.

What sucks is we will have to play them next season In the City/County Bowl.

M'boro has a very tough schedule ahead of them this season and with the lose of Mr. Everything Hunter Adams and Pittman , Strunk and also a really good group of SR's from a year ago it will a challenge for them this season. Green County is going to be tough I just hope our boys come out ready to play and make a game out of this one. See Y'all up on Log Mountain , Goooooooo Jackets.

Hurts a lot , On defense more so than offense JMO , He was a headhunter. If he goes to Pineville as rumored he would be unstoppable for the Mountain Lions.
