Oxnard consistently kicks it in our contests. You rock Ox!

Here is the latest!

Can anyone on BGP match up with Ox when it comes to picking winners?

A Legend he is!!!

I tell you what,Oxnard is the best, very hard to beat, believe me I have try.

My Congratulations to him.:ylsuper:

I have not had a chance to grade this week's Regional Playoff contest that I do, but I know he had a commanding lead heading in to the finals.

The amazing thing is that he makes all of his picks in the mud wearing a leather helmet that does not have a face mask. On top of that he is a great guy and a great friend. WAY TO GO!!!!!

I have been Involved In these contest for a long time and Ox over the years has been the best.

Gosh 'Ru, what can I say but THANKS! :thumb:

I feel somewhat like the humble, underdog actor standing at the podium after being announced as the Oscar winner. As such I guess I need to read my litany of thank yous to those who have contributed so much to my success:

Thanks to my mom and dad for stressing the importance of kicking rear end in everything that you do, as well as the financial sacrifices they made in sending me to "How to Win a Contest" camps. :taz:

Thanks to the Xavierian Brothers at St. X. for teaching me how to correctly interpret scouting reports and statistics, and to effectively utilize psychological ploys. :ylsuper:

Thanks to my friend clipper, who is probably the only other one on BGP who knows how wearing a leather helmet with no face mask in football can alter your brain waves for life and still appreciates drawing up tactics in the mud. :jump:

Thanks to the competitive spirit of my five children who keep me on my toes by still trying to beat me in something after all these years. :deadhorse:

Thanks to my wonderful wife who always edits my selections before final entry. :notworthy:

And thanks most of all to the Guru who provides me with the correct winners every Thursday before the Friday games. :sssh:

You, Tony, of all people should be thankful that you were not considered with the group named above. You knew what a lame brain one of them was from high school and college. :ohbrother:

I do need to thank you, however, for just being you! :thumb:

Congrats Oxnard. Its been fun. See you next year.

Thanks for entertaining post Ox and I will be sending your prizes out soon. If I need to add something because of more wins get on the email horn ASAP.

As expected Oxnard won the playoff regional contest. This contest is a season long battle that Oxnard ran away with.

Going in to the final week, Oxnard was up 3 points. That lead increased by 13 points in the final standings.

I think you should make a BGP inquiry on this. You know since Ox is one of those "Private Supporters" he surely had some type of advantage to win this contest.:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
