Rocks look good on offense, still work to do on the D side of things, but good win to start district play

I admire the loyalty of X fans, in saying every year that this is thier year. However, until you beat Trinity in either November or December, you'll only be 2nd best.

The refs have made several bad calls...

The officials in the game were horrid, I dont know who said they were right on, but how do you call a clip by a guard on T in the tackle box, then made it an 18 yard penalty. They screwed up SEVERAL calls all night. I understand if you are making terrible calls both ways, but this was all one sided. Alas, the Rocks overcame the poor officiating and pulled out the victory

Lets see, Trinity has 7 Championships in the 9 years we started playing juniors and X has 1. It seems to work

X is 3 TD's better than Elder

I dont even need to watch the second half to know, Cincy X is the BEST team we'll face all year...Elder included

Rocks dominated, as score could have easily been 42-7. Defense is TOUGH! Future is lookin good in Rockville!

They way some of, not all of, the Elder faithful were talking, they should have beat us by 60 (words of some fans not mine). This contest was won rightly by Elder, but Trinity hung in there and played tough. The key injuries, illnesses hurt, but you'll not hear excuses from us. We lost and we'll see you all again next year at The Rock...now lets go get #20

Trinitys JV definately passes the look test. There are some dominating sophomores on both sides of the ball. I was especially impressed by the D, Manual didn't have a substantial drive all game long.

Early word is a turf toe injury..not sure how bad. Wouldn't have mattered though, Rocks looked distant tonight...lack of emotion. The Rocks have A LOT to work on..but the season is early, and Im not going to bet against Beatty and staff.

There has been plenty of that go both ways. You speak as if no one from X ever sent their kids to Trinity.

X - A lot HC - Not a lot

The Rocks are gonna be fine. They are loaded in the sophomore class and have enough pieces in the junior and senior class to make a nice mix. I believe Trinity won the JV and Frosh games this year. Not that winning those games means anything, but Im assuming, we'll do alright

Im not sure of his record, I do however know he won NATIONAL coach of the year. Not so uneducated I assume?
