I dont believe X people are trying to add fuel to Ballards fire...I just believe they are making sound, fact backed predictions. The last time Trinity played Ballard, the Bruin D had more holes in it than swiss cheese. Petrino went off, because Ballard wanted to stop the run. Thats the major problem facing Trinity opponents, you cant stop one aspect of the offense, you have to try to contain both. Ballard put 8 to 9 guys in the box, blitzed, and got burned all night long, and if they dont change thier game plan, the same thing will happen. And as a side note, Im more than positive X DOES want to play us again, not solely because of the first game, but more so because they'll still be in the playoffs

It was an absolute horrid idea by the KHSAA...how many teams were playing the same team from the prior week who they had blown out? Where as, crossing districts, and playing teams not normally faced during the regular season, would add excitement. One more item of proof that shows the KHSAA is clueless

I guess ballard will turn the last game plan totally around, and put 9 in the secondary, allowing Phillips and the gang to RUN for 300 plus, instead of last time, where they had 9 in the box and watched Nick throw the ball all over for well over 300...either way, Ballard loses Rocks 49 Bruins 0

Trinity is up at halftime 28-0. Rocks got off slow, but are rolling now.

Because, when you do that, male only takes the total yards, divided by number of games played, which would exclude owensboro..while Trinity, has to divide by number of games, including St. X..which in turn, hurts their average..like Centre Rocks stated, they'd be wrong

So that two louisville schools (Trinity, St.X or Male in particular) wouldn't meet each other in the finals

Momentum, Nick had been off all game, due to weather, and they wanted to keep his confindence up...that, and who can argue with a guy who has 4 titles in 6 years. Last week, Trinity vs Fern Creek lasted a LOOOOONG time, this one could last a lot longer...I suspect over 900 pass attempts and over 3 miles of offense, Trinity winning 235-97... Well, a little stretch, but it will be a long game with all the passing. Maybe look for the Rocks to run the ball more than usual to wear out the thin squad from Shelby Co. Rocks 35 Shelby 7

At the half, Trinity is playing pretty bad, but they're still winning 44-14. Rocks with 3 first half turnovers. Petrino is going off, 17-22 for 256 and 5 TD's

That was a memorable day, my birthday in fact. Shawn Johnson was a beast that day, he returned the opening kickoff 93 yards for a TD, then sealed the deal with a 57 yard scamper down the sideline on a run around the right side. Trinity's D shut down the juggernaut of Alexander, he only got 97 yards on 32 carries.

First off, how can you question what Beatty is doing at Trinity? He has 4 titles in 6 years! How many did Glaser win in his first 6 years? Trinity has been playing its sometimes used sophomores and rarely used juniors in its jv games to gain VALUABLE experience. Dont knock Trinity's philosophy just because X doesnt do it. Thats X's problem. And to say Beatty isn't about the kids, that just ludicrous. Beatty is looked upon by the players as a father figure and each of them knows he cares more about them than anything. It boils down to this, St.X has its way of doing things on the jv level...and the varsity has won what, 12 titles? Trinity has 16 by doing it thier way. I'm going with Trinity's way...it seems to prove a better system.

I want to make a note that Trinity held out a significant number of sophomore "studs". I've been hearing it already how the only reason Trinity wins these games is because we play juniors. Its not our fault St. X doesnt give the juniors that dont play much on varsity experience in the JV game..but to say thats the reason T won tonight is downright wrong. Trinity won because they out physicalled St. X tonight...bottom line
