Do you think that's relevant to how Alabama uses their TE's today under Saban? I think there's been a little bit of change in 40 years.

He did but can you name another? Even OJ was underutilized. They seemed to use him once in a while just to give the other teams something to think about. Of course with their running game and recent wide receivers you can't really blame them.

Bama doesn't seem to use their TE's other than for blocking. Of course, they do get drafted.

Was hoping it was later. Will be at a birthday celebration in a sports bar. Will have to follow on BGP in the middle of all the NCAA action. Wish we were back in the days when it was televised around the state.
