Do you remember the years of the Louisville Colonels? Kinda a shame Louisville used to have an MLB team and an ABA (Merged with NBA years later) only for them to fold. The big money families in Louisville (Binghams, Brown's, Cherry, Jones, etc.) backed the arts rather than sports teams. While I am happy for Louisville's Fine Arts scene, the Fine Arts just don't compare to major sports teams.

I still say it is very possible if not probable T wins out reg season, gets revenge on Male in the Play Offs like T has done so many times in past versus X or Male, and defeats Scott Co for another state to title. No coaching staff I can think of has a history of turning ugly early seasons into victorious Decembers. Anyone who says stick a fork in them is ignorant of this or simply enjoys taking empty jabs at T.

Would not be surprised to see T right the ship and beat X, the district, get revenge on Male and possibly beat Scott Co for State. No one rights the ship like T's staff. Look at the years they were blown out by X in the reg season only to win State in December.

Between Male, Scott or T, is it possible two of th three could meet in the championship or do the brackets just not allow it.

Male has incredible speed, reminded me of the early 2000 Male teams amd the speed they had. Some of the better high school pass coverage I have seen. The very solid pass rush helped too.

You are absolutely correct in saying next week is very telling. How well Scott does will tell us a bunch about T's strength of schedule. If T beats Male and Scott beats Moeller (seriously doubt but let's go there), that will be very bead scratching.

The teams Trinity lost to would mow over pretty much any KY team but Trinity gave all three pretty close games. I still don't see anyone IN KY better than Trinity, only teams with better records from playing schedules not as brutal as Trinity's. Male may prove me wrong Friday but I doubt it so in my book, T is still the best in KY till then. A sports writer on TV made the comparison to Alabama playing and losing to 3 NFL teams. Bama would still be the tops IN COLLEGE. X is no higher than 3 (Trinity and Male being in the top spots) but I can't think of 3 more teams along with Male and Trinity who I would bet money on beating X to justify knocking them out of the top 5. I think when doing rankings, many people focus too much on record instead of what that record is composed of ie who the losses were to and by what margin.

I agree. To beat Mighty Moe on their home turf, T will need their A players, or atleast most of them back. With those guys on the field, Trinity could very well drive down I71 Southbound with a win.
